Regarding the bitcoin price. It is too expensive now to buy more and go with the flow of others. Better just holdbit too if you have some.
I wont withdraw my alts just so I could get something from that fork. There will be a lot of lost if I do so.

Nobody knows. Support for 2x is diminishing, but I think the market in general is expecting a repeat of BTC cash, and so people are accumulating BTC. No-one knows how this will all play out. Just don't make any panicked decisions.

It is affecting altcoins negatively and bitcoin positively, that much is clear to pretty much everyone, what will happen after the fork? That's the million dollar question, it depends on how much support there is for either side, if eventually the fork is quite smooth then things will be a bit less frenzied I feel in the market but if there is a large split then bitcoin prices will fluctuate wildly and altcoins will do so as a result of that.

I'm hoping that after the fork money moves back into Alts.  I'm worried that people may go to cash instead and we may see a flattening out of the market as a whole for a while.  Things have rocketed up so fast, they have to slow down.  With all the hedgefunds and other big money coming in, they will be more likely to mess with prices, shorting various coins to manipulate markets.  I think that since this space is so unregulated it could become even more "wild-wild west" as existing whales battle it out with the new sophisticated HF's and other private equity money.

The more money will fly to the fork coin. that means there will be another crash caused by the fork coin but you must remember if that will be happened after the fork coin network will live.
that will not happen if the network still not live and those fork coin holders will not able to send their coin.

It will alter how some data is stored on the network. Specifically speaking, it will remove transaction malleability, an issue that once resolved could lead to a number of network improvements.
It would set a timeline for increasing the network's block size to 2MB, up from 1MB today, to be triggered about three months after the SegWit activation.
As regards the latter part of the question, realistically speaking, its unsure at this point - Bitcoin could take a dip and Altcoins could start increasing in value during because some people will start selling there and begin to buy in Altcoin...or, Bitcoin will become better than ever and continue its ascension to the moon!

Bitcoin fork will affect bitcoin. Running in fork bitcoin transactions are not allow.  It get times many. Sometimes alt coin price going very down. In last bitcoin fork getting bitcoin price so high. Upcoming fork will just bring another altcoin (copy of bitcoin) into crypto world in which few people might get crazy and buy at high prices. But within a week or month, there will be series of dump from big bitcoin holders where all newbie who have invested few weeks earlier will be eaten alive  

After fork bitcoin price might correct a little bit whiel altcoin will boom.

You mentioned "hurt" bitcoin, but forks are supposed to improve or change Bitcoin, right? How would forks hurt Bitcoin?

If we keep having too many forks, it would end up affecting Bitcoin's immutability. Sure, we have 21 million coins and if any developer comes with its own theory that the legacy developer does not agree with, then they end up divorcing and then creating a fork.
 
Now, imagine what would end up happening it this keeps going on... it would then prove so many of these financial dudes right that in as much as the blockchain technology is here to change everything, having control is what makes it better, which I do not agree but I feel there should be a law on forks before we start seeing like 50 different UNNECESSARY forks coming up later in future as I do not see any of them improving bitcoin but just some pure developer's greed.

Now, I learned there is going to be another fork by December called Bitcoin Silver and everything about it sucks. It is best for the community to stop seeing these forks as free money but high time we started discarding them and seeing them as scams.
