The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Did you click someones referral link to get to the page? If not you wont have a cookie saved and so wont link to a pool.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Ok, you will be in a pool but you are also now a pool 'owner' as well. So (and other members can correct me here if I'm wrong) you will only see those people you recruit (ie those that join your pool), but the owner of the pool you joined will still be able to see you. Hope this makes sense  Undecided

I left mine running for the night and Rejected rate is bad.
Btw, I do not have this problem with any other pool (for example http://mining.bitcoin.cz).
I am going to get another card today too, so I can increase my mining  speed by 5x Smiley

PS! If you do not have your pool, join us:  https://Krokodill.triplemining.com

Thank you

I use Phoenix and I am not sure it has a setting similar to guiminer "-a1"

Command line options
Phoenix arguments

-v (verbose) - Logs additional debug messages to the console. Default is disabled.

-q (queue size) - Sets the size of the internal work queue. Default is 1. This shouldn't need to be changed for most GPU miners.

-a (average samples) - Sets the number of samples to use for hashrate averaging. Default is 10. You might want to lower this for longer kernel execution times. (high aggression)

-u (URL) - Sets the URL of the work server. The correct protocol is selected based on the prefix (RPC for http://, MMP for mmp://)

-k (kernel) - Selects which kernel to load. Default is poclbm. All other arguments MUST come before specifying a kernel. Any arguments after -k are sent to the kernel.

First Block Party: so it's a fact, our first block has been found! To celebrate, we are giving away 10 BTC! The only requirement is that we reach 50 GHash/s before July, 5th 2011 and keep it up for at least 24 hours.

    Everyone can participate, minipools and solo miners.
    5 BTC will be distributed amongst everyone by counting the number of submitted shares (starting today July 2, 2011).
    5 BTC will be distributed amongst the TOP 5 minipools, 1 BTC for each team.
    The extra reward for the minipools is paid out to the team leader.

im not asking this because i dont trust the pool but because i genuinely dont know:

did everybody receive their payouts yet? my balance still states 0 , reward that needs validation is 0.38

sry if this is annoying, but i thought it only takes a few mins after a round to compute the payouts?

Check the Block stats tab:

Block 134362   IMMATURE   50.0075   8 hours ago   668796    Needs 50 more confirmations

I believe mrsam is going to automate the process so its faster to pay out in future

Hej guys, i want to be as open as i can about this. When a block is found, i get a message as a pool owner that looks like this :
bitcoind@eu:~$ bit listtransactions
[
    {
        "account" : "",
        "category" : "immature",
        "amount" : 50.00750000,
        "confirmations" : 73,
        "txid" : "8997409318ca566fceed73bb4ac9d58979a25451c6ed047a39b1e7572e7d790f",
        "time" : 1309601162
    }
]

this proves that we found a block, but if i check my balance:
$ bit getbalance
0.00000000

The reason is that a block needs 120 confirmations before the balance is added to your account. (each time a block is found on the network is another confirmation.

Very big pools pay out the users immediatly when a block is found because they give the money up front (and they find 10 blocks an hour).

As soon as the pool grows a bit, we will also hopefully have some spare bitcoins to pay you faster, untill then it is the 120 confirmations rule (as on many other pools)

I could also put the money in your 'balance' but and not give you the ability to click the payout button, but that seems wrong, that is the reason we choose for the 'needs validation' option.

I don't understad how to join a mini-pool. I tried to go to the register page of the pool, but i justget a new independent account. Please help me to understand this, or better: https://josell.triplemining.com/my_pool

Did you click someones referral link to get to the page? If not you wont have a cookie saved and so wont link to a pool.
. I click some referencial links, but when I registered, I get another independent account instead join a pool; I dont understand.

Here is an example:
User 1  registers on www.triplemining.com.
User 2 registers on user1.triplemining.com.

At this time user 1 will be able to see user 2 in the 'my pool' page. User 2 will see an empty list.

User 3 registers on user2.triplemining.com.

At this time user 1 will see user2 , and user2 will see user3 in his team. User 3 will see an empty list.

The reason for this is that we dont want a pyramid or ponzi story, every one is a pool owner. The only way to grow your pool is to have other users register under yourusername.triplemining.com, you will never see your 'parent'.

I hope this clears everything up ..
