Hi, thank you for the info.
I know our pool is new and small but we are tying to build Low cost, Fast and Reliable Monero Mining Pool for all Monero Miners, and we are doing it harder than others.
The actual mining difficulty auto adjusts on all ports based on miner's hash rate submitted to the pool, the only difference is miner's starting difficulty.
Based on our testing, 10,000 starting difficulty is not that high: regular AMD RX 480 can get around 700H/s and difficulty auto adjusted to 40,000.
A common 6 x AMD RX 580 rig can get around 5000H/s and difficulty auto adjusted to 100,000 ish.
Pool payouts are weighted on the number of shares per miner, while those shares are weighted on the difficulty setting, so a low difficulty share is worth less than a high difficulty share.
Pool supports Fixed diff: Append +DIFF to your username, min diff is 10,000. eg WALLET+DIFF as username.
Hope it make sense.
