How many people on here are using GUIminer? I think it pretty easy to use, so a nice way to get started. Is it worth change to something else afterwards though?

Only used cgminer myself. cgminer easy enough to use. Most pools have examples of how you would set it up to use with their pools.

Personally I think this whole newbie training thing is kinda silly. I mean, what are we ? 3 years old ? Gimme a break. I feel stupid!!!

I just jumped right in to CGMINER first day. Its a small learning curve and well worth it.

Its just a more advanced miner and more flexible. GUIminer has a lot of default values. Best to jump right in and your done. Plenty of help out there on commands to use.

Honestly, i'm not sure why other forums don't implement a newbie mode. This is kind of interesting.

RJMcSherry,

its kinda like induction day at a large employer isn't it? Lots of people making conversation at the first break time. then prob never talk to each other again! Still +1 on the post count Wink
