50 BTC

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a clone or even one of those Terrahash.com miners that produce 180GHs for about the same price?  Also they will be delivery in July.  Not like the delayed Avalons?

Also the Terrahash device can be paid for with a Credit card or Paypal, adding additional security.

Not to get off-topic here, but unless I'm mistaken aren't they planning on using Avalon chips, which haven't shipped yet?

I don't know if I mentioned this in previous auctions, nor what some people believe it *should* go for (I hear people with opposing opinions and some who think I'm silly for even selling in the first place) but this particular unit was purchased originally for 103.245BTC (with shipping).

You realize that by the time the unit arrives, the unit will probably be able to mine 1 BTC a day at the current difficulty rate.  And that'll go lower every two weeks.

Oh my bad, you're just here to troll. I thought you were here to discuss a serious topic.

OMG, so high price when there's a boatload of batch 2 that hasn't shipped yet.  So batch two will finish shipping in September and then batch 3 will start to ship.  So can you post the order number so we can see what we bidding on exactly.

30 minute threshold.

For the next 30 minutes, any bids will increase the auction time by 30 minutes from that last bid.

Happy bidding!
