I guess bitcoin is making the world a better place. Yes, there are things such as scam going on around us thru the use of bitcoin, but bitcoin has been able to provide a source of living to many and increase rate of employment (although not official) by providing work to the citizens of each country. Also bitcoin is educating the citizens on the millenial way of earning money. We cannot hide the fact that bitcoin is helping more people to have a stable finances with the aid of each peoples’ hardship.

If it is for good or bad, it will depend on your perception about what's right and what's wrong. Technological advances has been among us, since we created the fire. So it doesn't mean to stop progress, if not to embrace the new development and start using it in our everyday life. Actually bitcoin is already changing the way we store our wealth and the way we move money within and outside country fast and with very low fees.
Banks from all over the world are just trying to stop bitcoin revolution and craze because they fear that one day bitcoin will completely replace banks just like how postal service was replaced by email and internet.
We will be in total crypto boom world soon...

let's forget about the price rising and bitcoin as investment , bitcoin is really helping some countries
like for a guy in US or Europe , transferring money online isn't hard cause these countries have good systems for that
but in the middle east and other countries it's not even possible to transfer money online , so bitcoin has truly changed the situation there
me personally without bitcoin I can't do anything with money online , cause I have no option except bitcoin and other alts
so even if bitcoin price isn't high , it's still really useful in some areas

Bitcoin can not do anything. Bitcoin is just a mechanism in our hands. We have to make the world a better place and not shift this work on someone else's shoulders. Now I do not see unity in the team of bitcoin and do not see unity in the ranks of the users. Under these conditions, the world will not soon get better.

It is a big help for those people who have no income or jobless individual and as we are now an internet of all things then more and more people that are now earning on line job and bitcoin is the best aim. |

I think that as the ledger is open to everyone, bitcoin may be a perfect vehicle for mass surveillance. For a long time I have had this suspision, that maybe it was designed and introduced to substitute cash when the ripe time comes, and with all the fake news on how it protects privacy and is the first choice black market currency, people will think that hey! we can maintain our privacy with it. Which is not the case, I am afraid.

For some people maybe yes or maybe no. But for me of course yes Because bitcoin has changed my mindset and I can also get some additional income from bitcoin like trading, bounty etc. So bitcoin changed my life.

I don’t think it’s bitcoin, rather blockchain technology. I mean, bitcoin has had a positive impact because it shows that the world can have a decentralized currency, not dependent on central banks and political power.
However, blockchain technology has lots of other applications, apart from the monetary one, so many procedures will be changed in the future and improve our lives.

It has already changed the world. It has given some people a alternative payment option, when all other payment methods was "closed" for them. {Examples : BackPage or WikiLeaks} It also provided migrant workers a method to send money home without having to pay outrages high fees. {MoneyGram and Western Union being examples of companies who exploit people with high fees for remittance services}  |
