No, it was an useless coin, it did not bring anything to the whole community, it is full of issues and their devs are not even thinking about solving them because they are greedy as fuck, the coin is under one hundred dollars and it seems that it is not going to go up for a while, so yes, try to invest in another coin instead of this one, because bitcoin gold is not going anywhere for now, it is pretty dead at the moment.
The same happened with bitcoin cash, but now it is rising, i dont know the real reason.

nobody likes bitcoin gold, i dumped mine when the price was about $300 dollars each one of them, and i was happy to sell them because it was like free money, but it was difficult to setup your wallet and export your private key, i remember that there were a lot of issues regarding to this. i am happy because i was one of those who didn't lost a penny during this process.
i hope that this is not going to happen with the new fork, a lot of people are going to be exposed to lose their bitcoins if this is happens again.

Bitcoin gold possibly like bitcoin cash, for me it will not take long of the price to rise higj. Just like bitcoin cash it will pump at first then price will have it dump. We dont know yet, but I think it will not reach stable at a peak price.

Btc goold is just another altcoin forked from bitcoin and use zcash technology then developer premined it and then doing an airdrop. Btcgold use zcash algorithm. It is just like zcash with 21 million total coin will be issued. Dont compare it to bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash is the true hard fork. Bitcoin gold is not.

No, it's just another failure coin, bitcoin gold is not a good coin and it doesn't has any value  and as soon as it comes out it has been sold by the users and rejected by a lot of wallet and exchanger, when this happened we already knew that the future of bitcoin gold wont be good and up until now the coin  has sink, no one ever mention that bitcoingold is worth to keep

I dont see anything new it they have just changed the protocol and want to earn money thats why they created bitcoin gold ,not just that there are already many altcoin which are bitcoin clone with slight changes in protocol.cryptocurrency without project is now useless ,it is just that people are buying altcoin so market works but there is high risk to these altcoin.

Bitcoin gold is pure marketing in my opinion. Its main function seems to be ASIC resistant and whatnot, but then these are all functionalities that other coins such as LTC and VTC have already tried to implement, and have continued to be developed. It's not like it's anything new.

In my opinion, it's going to be a pure pump and dump coin.

In the end, it's going to be virtually worthless.

Bitcoin Gold still does not have a wallet, how can it be any good? We will see it if we can use it, send and receive it. Most exchanges did not give bitcoingold to their bitcoin owners. None of private key holders get bitcoin gold for their bitcoin amount at fork date.
Bitcoin Gold team said they will release wallet on November 1st, it is 8th now and there is not a sign for it. I have no hope for their future, we will see

To me bitcoin gold is very good and we need to study the teams behind it. However many cryptocurrency enthusiasts are saying bitcoin gold is governments taking over of blockchain industry and since I have limited knowledge on this I think we may end up with what we have in August. I will invest in it and do day trade with, long time investment is currently not adviseble and we have to just see what we can get from it.

It is not good coin or i'd liked to call that as very bad coin, the developer just try to delay the launch of the main net that means all of the BTG coin already traded in the exchange site just iou coin.
Dev just like amateur person and you can see the recent delay

I think its not as good as bitcoin cash, real bitcoin is out of discussion. Their mining operation is even flawed. Their wallet situation was lot more problematic than bitcoin cash. I plan to not ever investing in bitcoin gold.
