guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.
That's one of the purposes of airdrops, they want your email so they can send you a lot of offers, this is actually illegal you should opt to their newsletter or be included in their list to get emails coming from them, you should hit spam whenever you received this kind of email, another thing I hate about these airdrops is the KYC, after you've done your KYC and received your coins, you will never read anything about their project anymore.

That's true, most of these airdrop forms are just to steal email addresses which they either sell or use for promotion. Some also, deceive users into joining their Telegram groups thus changing it thereafter. It's always wise we verify most of these forms before filling them.

I really hate to receive too many ads and promotion on my email, it's made my account flooded.
I am not a fan of airdrop, although, other cryptocurrency project are legit and promote using airdrop, but many are not.
This is the reason why I learn to provide only my email account and other personal information whenever I am certain the legitimacy of the company.

yeah, i think so. indeed when i followed a lot of airdrop and filled out many forms at that time, my e-mail began to be sent a fraudulent message.
i began to feel uncomfortable because of that, since then i began to be careful and afraid of what if i made a mistake when opening the email and going to the scam link.

Yes we must be very careful on the forms because most of them are just getting our information and sell it to thieves, also use it to send phishing emails to hacked our private keys and get our precious coins when we clicked on the link.

Of course, this has been one of the issues surrounding the filling of online forms not only for airdrops. Remember, most of these projects are just interesting in gathering a bunch of emails to sell for their own gains. I will be smart to always have a secondary email for such purposes if one intends to participate largely in stuffs recommending the filling of online forms.

That's your mistake, you don't have to use your personal emails in airdrop. Most of the airdrop are scams, that's what I learn in the past so I don't participate on it now, if ICO projects are having a struggle now, how much more a free one.

Indeed, after participating in dubious airdrop, I began to receive a lot of fraudulent letters, although I didn’t even participate in many, maybe they have their own database of email addresses that they are trying to use. If you are planning to continue to participate in Airdrop, then try to use temporary mail, for example: https://temp-mail.org/en/

It just the scam emails, you might fill in your private key or get hacked through the process of filling out such forms. Google forms are not secure means of collecting data.

Feeling of airdrop forms most especially the ones that come in for of Google forms and typeform have always been a means of obtaining people's details for dubious acts and reasons. One has to be careful of airdrop to take part in.

a lot of airdrop coded scams they make forms to retrieve personal data from many people. my advice if you want to join airdrop, make new data such as e-mail, then don't make a password with the e-mail password.

I gave up on airdrops, because they are bringing nothing. Airdrops are distributed after several months of trading, after investors and hunters tokens have been distributed and are usually worth not more than 1 dollar. It makes no sense and furthermore, you are almost getting spam e-mails as the author stated.

That is the reason why I do not join airdrops anymore, they only use these forms to gather information or data for other purposes and in the end you will get nothing or worthless coins plus a lot of spam emails.

maybe you joined a shady project airdrops, that will happen if you do not research the project you receive a bunch of scam emails.
Aside joining a shady project, we also have to take lots of precautionary method as regards our own financial security, there will always be scam projects and I don’t expect everyone to be so perfect in selection because it is not so easy to distinguishes them that much, but what the op would have done was to use a crypto mail. That crypto mail should not also hold any vital information like his keys and other login details, but it would have rather been a place where he will be receiving all, these junk messages, and if any hacker is to gain access to the mail, they will not have access to vital information that could make his investment go down the drain. I am someone that participates in projects randomly, and since I know the danger of this, I never joke with my email.

Don't enter your private keys no matter of what they are giving to you.
Keep separate wallet for storing airdrop rewards.
No personal information because high chances of it will get misused.
