When participating in bounties or any online activities it is advisable to always use a separate email address aside from your normal email address for the activities that you don't really trust. Because some bounties or airdrop are just scam and are trying to gather email to be able to spam you.

Yes but it's not only the email which is dangerous, they also know the pseudonym of your account on bitcointalk, your name or pseudonym on the social medias platforms, and last but not least, they know one of your bitcoin/altcoin addresses and they can track your transactions. Some companies working for the CIA, DEA, FBI, IRS, etc are aggregating these datas and selling them to governments.

But caution in filling out the forms will never hurt. You must have a separate wallet without ether and separate email for the airdrop. Links in the form is a danger number one. When filling out the forms, never didn't click on the link in it because an invisible scripts may be written there that read your key.

A lot of these forms are loaded with phishing sites, some will even ask for your private keys. Let's be wary of them please.

guys be aware of the airdrop forms that you fill up in here , i filled out a few forms yesterday and i started receiving scam emails on that email address.
If you register for Airdrop, you should first check the truth from the Airdrop. Does Airdrop have a project or not. At least you can check their website, whether official or not. Because there are so many Airdrops who only seek followers for them.

One reason I'm not interested in airdrop is a scam. There are many ways they do to cheat, by sending e-mails, personal telegram messages and more. And that is not comparable to the results we get. Don't waste time on that.
Most times it is not the project that keeps sending those spam and phishing links emails. It is done by scammers who still email lists from public spreadsheet or through other means.

Do not use your original and official email for such things, I participate in Airdrops and bounties and I created a dedicated email for them and I know not have to get worried the number of emails that get in there. Also it is through such emails that certain viruses and phising sites are sent and one have to be careful not to click on such links

It might be a new thing to newbies. Those who have been in the cryptoverse for some time now will see it as something that happens regularly and should be avoided by all means. The mistake I made when I was participating in airdrop, was suing my main main email on the forms I filled. Till today, I still receive spam emails.

There is always some shady things about when it is free. So you have to be careful about joining airdrops because some of them want to hack your computer system to get your private data. Some of them want to steal your personal information to sell it. That is why I stopped joining airdrops. It is the risk that I cannot take.

Indeed the email that we put in the airdrop form is always the target of spam. Airdrop is interesting because it offers free tokens without a lot of effort but we must be vigilant when having to submit our personal data such as identity documents or email addresses

And I decided not to participate in airdrops anymore. There is nothing good in this undertaking. Only a bunch of junk tokens on the wallet. And to get rid of them, you still have to pay a commission

This is one of the reasons I stopped filling airdrop forms. I noticed that the form is only used to steal email addresses of people who fill for airdrop. In the end instead of receiving tokens, they get a spamful of junk mail

so you are saying that you already stop joining airdrops ? because on every airdrops there will always be a form that you will up . they need to gather your info's like eth address , name , profile link and others . email is optional but email is sometimes needed to veify if you are a real human and for them to control the abuse and spam . airdrops dont steal emails and they arent also sending scam mails or spam . you can also have the ability to spam via the mail settings .

E-mail address is requested by all projects, not only in airdrops. Spam is the least of the evils that you can get on your e-mail, and phishing emails are much worse. For airdrops, you can create a separate e-mail so that your main one does not suffer from spam.

It happens to me too so I think we should have an unique email for airdrops. They send a lot of phishing emails instead of airdrop reward.
I thought that all people doing that - creating a new mail. but the worst thing is that your data can simply be stolen and sold on the black market

as long as they don't ask for a private key, I think it doesn't matter if we fill out the airdrop form, and it's free anyway.

that is very true i think its not really the airdrop form but be very careful on the links sent to you via email some basic clue to check if the sender is legit check the details of the sender email if its yahoo.com or gmail.com most probably its a scam but check from other people as well ask if its legit or best is to ask on telegram the moderator of the project if they have sent such email.

if you really feel you must continue to participate in airdrops, 99% of which have become totally worthless, and in many cases wouldn't even deliver,
then pick an e-mail address / information that you will not be using in your real activities or for any of your accounts at all...

I have chosen not to join the airdrop again. because it's true as you say. 99% of them are waste that has no value. their goal to do airdrop is there must be something they want to get from us, not investment, but data from us.
