It seems to me that bitcoin is really convenient to pay for large purchases, such as real estate, cars and more. Payment of small purchases by bitcoin, in my opinion, is impractical because of the long time of the transaction. In addition, now the payment infrastructure in bitcoin is almost just beginning, not everywhere bitcoin is accepted as payment for goods or services.

i guess its a great progress to have bitcoin as a mode of payment. For the purchasing party, It makes transactions fast and less hassle and its more convenient. on the sellers side, its also convenient and somehow profit gaining since bitcoin value constantly fluctuates hence, the bitcoin paid will also serve as an investment so long as you hold on to it for a bit which eventually, you can also profit from.

Actually that's a brilliant idea! Especially since bitcoins were really made for huge money transfer without hiccups like big fees along the way.

So, yup. It's a great form of payment.

Faster and hassle free transaction when using Bitcoin.
And it is a good opportunity for someone who make Bitcoin and Altcoin trading as a living.

I try having bitcoin as a payment for one of my sideline and so far that idea gives additional income for me because the value of bitcoin keeps rising so I think the idea of paying bitcoin for a work done is good it has very reliable source, the transactions are so fast that you don't need to en-cash a check or meet the person who will pay you just a click on their wallet in short very hassle free and made to have additional income.

Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.

Still working with my current employer on the process of getting our monthly payment/salary in BTC
As we're an International company with 'virtual' existence all over the world, the wire transactions fees (& of course the delay in many cases) are really huge, that's why we're working to convert to Crypto (especially BTC)
But after the significant price increase, I think you also need to reconsider about the fee because as for now, the fee might looks small in btc unit but if equal to dollars, it could become a ridiculously high amount.
Also if your employers don't have some kind of BTC debit card or can't burden the fees, they will have hard time to convert it back to fiat.

haha, You can accept Bitcoin as a payment tool. But I think, there is rarely clients pay through Bitcoin. They also understand Bitcoin value and they wanna invest Bitcoin instead of payment tool.

But many entrepreneurs hate risk, they will not accept anything if it is not really profitable for them.

Having bitcoin as a mode of payment is a perfect idea. By this, purchasing or doing certain transactions is easier and safer, less hassle. This offers convenience not only to the buyers but also to the sellers and since bitcoin is being used, both parties can also gain profit from it of they choose to hold on to the coin for a little while.

Its advantageous if bitcoins are the mode of payment because it fluctuates and could be used as an asset compared to ordinary money. Good thing to bitcoin user's because they can shop online and in and instant transactions are really fast with less effort to do.

I have received Bitcoin payment for certain services I rendered for some people and I also know of many people using OpenBazaar to receive bitcoins for the products they sell. The food vendors in my area also accept bitcoin as a method of payment and also some of the local bars.

A lot of them make use of payment processors, because they do not want to deal directly with bitcoins. < keeping it safe, until they can exchange it and dealing with the price volatility >

OP, remember the price also goes down, so you have to act quickly if you want to convert to fiat currencies or you will have to hoard until the price goes up again.

In the first place, there must be some commercial websites or technology companies that can first pay in bitcoin. Amazon is already doing it. I don't think it will take a long time. There will be more people using bitcoin. More accurately, there will be more people using virtual currencies. I think ETH is more advantageous in terms of payment

In my opinion, yes bitcoin can be a mode of payment. That is the wonderful and beauty of bitcoin, you can use it to pay something through the internet. Some company are accepting bitcoin as a payment and some online store are now willing to accept bitcoin as a payment.

What you have described is literally the sole benefit of living bitcoin, that is that your value appreciates. but understand, its not always like this. I get paid in crypto, its hard to plan with certainty any kind of very large payment. the rate can shift VERY considerably over time; the money you put away for rent or a car note might not be as much as you need it to be by the time you get around to paying the bill. another situation is if you get paid in a static crypto rate (ICOS). If the token tanks, and you are getting paid in the token, then essentially you dont get paid Wink try eating that after working on a roject for 2 months with no compensation Wink

bitcoin salary is cool in a bull market. is shit in a bear.

Bitcoin is undoubtedly, as a form of payment in some countries.

Already many people use bitcoin as payment, they see payments using bitcoins very safe and fast.

In addition, escrow services have produce online security on bitcoin transactions.
