Honestly, you are not going to get 9K for this.   I would think about a more reasonable price.    People quote prices that contain dealer markup.  I would say for this, the 5-6K range is more likely to get you more action.

Thats the issue I havent found anything I want to put another $3k on top to get either the one on ebay or a jeweler.  I have a cash offer of $6k already locally, problem is I dont like anything here locally and just got back from the cruise in April in Carribean where I would have possibly bought something.

Holy crap, 9k? If you don't mind me asking was the store trustworthy? I'm a learning Jeweller and I've hard all sorts about casting pieces and the like being developed really cheaply. For the record I couldn't at all afford that bracelet because I'm just a student really but I'd be interested to know if it was hand-made etc. as I hope you haven't been ripped off. My reasoning being is like Dalkore said even if you've got .925 metal it shouldn't amount to much more than a couple of thousand, you've probably been charged some outrageous markup in the past.

I'd just take the £6k offer if I were you because I bet it's going to be much lower elsewhere or people just won't buy it because you don't really have much proof it's genuine gold/silver that you've posted up.

As proof that its real, I would be willing to get it checked and verified by any local jeweler of choice here, if a interested buyer wants.  I am in a relatively smaller but highly progressive area, so there are many and have a long standing reputation.

That would probably be the best thing to do if you want to sell it online and get a receipt, you can then scan it or something and post it up here. By the way this is a shameless plug but I wouldn't mind making a ring/necklace for a much lower price for you I'd just need the size for the ring and a necklace is a lot easier. I'd only charge for the materials and a bit of extra markup. Nothing at all like what those Jewellery stores you went to would charge but I guess going by that bracelet their stuff is a lot more complicated.

Jewelry selling above retail price 7 years after purchase from a private owner is going to be the longest stretch of sale I've ever seen. I buy precious metals on a daily basis. This is probably a nice piece, don't get me wrong. Mark up on jewelry from a retail shop is 800%-1,000% of melt value of the item. Melt = Spot Price $1,300 / 31.1(troy oz) =$41.XX for one gram of 24K gold. 14k gold is 58.5% gold content. The rest is alloy. So $41.XX x .585 = $24/gram aprox. gold worth of this item. $24 x 10 grams = $240

Diamonds under half of a carat(less than 50 points) are worth around 20 cents to 60 cents a point on the market. Once 1/2 carat or more is achieved, Diamond value increases into the $100's and $1,000s. My educated guess would be that the bracelet contains aprox. 4.5-5 Carats total worth of diamonds, or 450/500 points. To be fair, 500 x .60 =$300

With a total wholesale worth of aprox. $540.00, the retail on this bracelet should be no more than an enormous 1,200% markup = $6,480.

1,000% = $5,400

800% = $4,320

If you do have a local offer for $6,000 , JUMP, RUN, & SWIM if you have to. $6,000 is a very, very good offer. Especially considering if you were to take it to a gold buyer; Be it a jeweler or melt buyer(hint:jewelers often buy at melt just as everyone else, and sometimes pay less than regular gold buyers such as myself.)
