Will Russia really leave the crypto currency world? what will happen to the ICO's that most are Russian lead. Are they doing this to manipulate the price of the coin then suddenly go back to it again in the future? Or are they serious with the crypto rubble?

That's the thing, no specific sites are named, might be just another threat-like BS from the government. I really don't imagine the ICO world without russians since like 90% of it IS russians  Well, if things get really dirty there, let's just hope all the cool russians leave their country before that! |

I have long distrusted both the statements of politicians from Russia and the news from this country. They are so contradictory that it is impossible to add a complete picture of what is happening in Russia regarding the crypto currency. However, if 13 sites connected with the crypto currency are really banned there, something strange is happening in Russia. Is this forum going to be banned there? This is a complete absurdity. No other country has done this. What is the Russian government afraid of? This is clearly not a concern for its citizens, how they can present such steps.

All operators in Russia that offer VPN services signed an agreement with the government about what will be on demand to provide the government with information about users and ensure disables the ability to go through VPN for restricted sites. Russia is a totalitarian state and they can expect any action. I hope that the Russians will show their attitude to Putin in the next elections. |

Yea I would also like to have those sites listed somewhere so I can verify whether this is actually true or not. I also read that Russia wants to 'protect' their citizens from dangerous investments like crypto currency. This is really weird because in a free market everybody is able to decide freely if they want to invest in stocks, real estate or crypto. Right? But at the end of the day if it's true it doesn't really matter because solutions like a VPN will certainly help Russian crypto enthusiasts. |

Russian officials of different ranks, including the president of the country, spoke for a long time about the need to support the crypto currency, met with Buterin, and made plans to switch the government to blockchein, which should improve its effectiveness. And what do we see in practice? Prohibition of sites related to crypto currency? And participation in this forum for the Russians will be banned. I do not understand these contradictory words and actions of the Russian authorities. If, of course, more information about the marketing of 13 sites in Russia is reliable information.

LOL. Just like what I have said months and months ago, Russia is anti-bitcoin. That's why I wasn't surprised to find this kind of moved from them. This is just the first step, later they will really go and put the hammer ban on everything crypto's. And those who still believed that Putin and Russia is supporting bitcoin, then you have to think your stance. Because as much as we want Russia to accept cryptocurrencies, they won't simply because it can't be controlled. That's why I find it funny about comments, saying that Putin will support it, I sorry but it won't be happening. But for our Russian community, I think OTC or some underground bitcoin trading is the only options to do for now.
