no, bitcoin cash will not replace bitcoin, there is no special about bitcoin cash its just like normal altcoin to me, many speculation like that this other alts that may replace bitcoin but its now 2017, no other alts can replace bitcoin until now since bitcoin was made, bitcoin is a mother of all coins if there is no bitcoin will no altcoin will be born.

Tbh i don't know. It's is possible tho, from what we've seen the other day.
I know there's a lot of people who hate the price of btc fees and the slow transaction times. I never thought there was so many tho to drop btc so quickly the other day.....what would of happened if the exchanges didnt crash is scary and unknown. Lot of trust has left bitcoin and i don't know how they/if can recover it.

There are rumors flying around, but all of that is just news with no big company support it, bch wont able to replace btc without any suppot from shop or company, so until there are big billionaire invest in bch and a lot of shop ready to switch to bch, I will stick with btc

I have read a couple of places that they forse that BCH will take over for BTC and the upcumming fork is just the start for this. The fork will splitt btc yet again and make it slower and more complex.

The same news sites signing the new songs of BCH today will be the same sources that will come tomorrow where you will read an article disclosing the true nature of BCH and how its being manipulated by some set of people in the crypto market. With all this, they have nothing to lose because people will still read the news, quote it and their traffic base will increase while those who relies on the news and acted on it, will be counting their losses and thinking about the next line of action on minimising the loss or hoping that something drastic will happen.

this rally with bitcoins cash is a total madness!
when it was starting to the moon last time i decided to ride a little, bought 0.1 bch @ 0.163! and ... yeap, became and investor for 2 month!
and I was happy to sell when BCH hit 0.167 - small profit, but not investor any more!
Later in the evening I saw 0.2.. I was like, hell, fine..

but when I saw 0.5! shit. it is crazy! I saw myself on Poloniex somebody bought BCH @ 0.5 for 2500 BTC! and a minute later it crashed 0.34!  I do not know what that guy feels now. Is he still alive, cause the price now going back 0.15+

There is a possibility that bitcoin cash can take over bitcoin but maybe it will takes years for it to happen, maybe if bitcoin cash can also bloom its price then why not? I feel this to be a manipulated growth for bitcoin cash. Because developers might have thought of making the forked assets of bitcoin to be popular. Now quite often user will tend to invest into bitcoin cash as well. In such a manner the price might have reached a big price and now gets lowered.

It can never take over bitcoin cash from bitcoin, bitcoin cash just hype I guess thats why price pump. Bitcoin proves its existing until today. And it cannot overtake bitcoin and bitcoin will rising again its value.
