Back when bitcoin cash was forked out, people accurately predicted that Segwit2x would fail, now that that has happened, I expect some influx into BCH.

I agree with you about altcoins. Their price will rise and might reach all-time high. But I don't think BTC price will drop very much. Most probably after a correction bitcoin price will rise again (but more smoothly this time)

I know what he's feeling right now, it such a pain on his wallet and on his mind that why did he want to invest that much by only speculating. Sometimes speculations aren't accurate and if you are too confident with it, be careful.

Bitcoin will come out stronger than ever out of this recent news. I already see the markets into a new bull-rush. But, despite the Bull-rush, the sell-off is going to be huge for Bitcoin, as now the bubble is over inflating behind the value for no apparent reason, other than for the big whales to dump all their BTC onto the market.

News like this gives hope for BTC, but gives it less power on the markets due to this recent rush only pertaining to the recent BTCgold fork, and no longer segwit

I was surprised today when I found out that bitcoin fork is canceled. This is actually a very good news for altcoins. I think that people will now come back to the altcoins in order to invest and trade them and the cost of altcoins will go up. I also expect that bitcoin value will decrease, because people will invest some parts of their bitcoin's portfolio in altcoins. Hopefully better times are coming for altcoins. Hope to see my portfolio in green :-)

Remember in the last week, BCH price has risen from 0.053 BTC to 0.08btc - so the rise already happened. I'm pretty sure that some insider knew that segwit2x would be cancelled and started buying BCh ahead of time.

It's really hard to say what is going to happen with BTC. Traders that wanted the segwit2x airdrop selling X long term investors buying. And the price still hold among 7,5k usd. Hope still continues this way, to avoid volatility and let the alts grow up again
