I was really worried about all that stuff that was going on around Bitcoin and future possible Hard Fork
and possible issues and even possible death of bitcoin itself.

No, Bitcoin will never die. But i can almost guarantee you that segwit won't be the last attempt at a new Bitcoin fork. This is the new "ICO' but for bitcoin miners/pools and big whales to play with. Forking BTC is free profit along with the major hype of buying into the markets.

Everyone should be in awe that the vote, voted in favor of no fork, which means there is a much bigger story going on behind the scenes than what we know of currently.

I agree bitcoin will never die ,, but with there news of segwitt cancellation I think there will be price fluctuations ,,, hopefully no mass sales happen ,, it will greatly affect the price of BTC

This coordinated attack on Bitcoin by the big blockers after peacefully calling the "truce" last week is the proof that they called off B2X not because of lack of community consensus but because of their lack of competency in delivering a viable and working B2X code.

Right, but I don't see there will be any need for forking BTC anymore because the block size increase will be implemented in BTC protocol sooner or later with community consensus. Slow and steady. If some people think this can be done in a hurry without community support, they will get rekt again.

I'm confident that the scaling issues bitcoin faces these days will be fixed in due time, I have no reason to lose faith in bitcoin core devs as they've done an excellent job maintaining bitcoin for years. Once everything is tested and confirmed working I'm sure consensus will be made for a hardfork, just HODL your horses

The Segwit2x effort began in May with a simple purpose:  to increase the blocksize and improve Bitcoin scalability. At the time, the Bitcoin community was in crisis after nearly 3 years of heavy debate, and consensus for Segwit seemed like a distant mirage with only 30% support among miners.
Segwit2x found its first success in August, as it broke the deadlock and quickly led to Segwit’s successful activation. Since that time, the team shifted its efforts to phase two of the project - a 2MB blocksize increase.

Our goal has always been a smooth upgrade for Bitcoin.  Although we strongly believe in the need for a larger blocksize, there is something we believe is even more important: keeping the community together.
Unfortunately, it is clear that we have not built sufficient consensus for a clean blocksize upgrade at this time. Continuing on the current path could divide the community and be a setback to Bitcoin’s growth. This was never the goal of Segwit2x.

As fees rise on the blockchain, we believe it will eventually become obvious that on-chain capacity increases are necessary. When that happens, we hope the community will come together and find a solution, possibly with a blocksize increase. Until then, we are suspending our plans for the upcoming 2MB upgrade.

We want to thank everyone that contributed constructively to Segwit2x, whether you were in favor or against. Your efforts are what makes Bitcoin great. Bitcoin remains the greatest form of money mankind has ever seen, and we remain dedicated to protecting and fostering its growth worldwide.

I will agree with you here. This fork might happen and probably even in November. It was not the cancellation in all meaning of this word. They have suspended sewgit2x, which means the fork will take its place one day.

In as much as people a lot of people are for the bitcoin knowingly against any form of fork, but what they fail to acknowledge is that there is a problem that needs to be tackled as the argument they have always put forward is that some people are willingly attacking bitcoin by way of spamming the network but what is surprising to me is that they could not do anything about it either stopping it or making bitcoin more free from the attacks. Now we are faced with the issue of high fees where the blame is always channelled towards the miners rather than making bitcoin itself better.

Don't worry, Bitcoin Core will get properly scaled, unlike BCash which only tries to slap a bandaid on the problem and sell it as the holy grail of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Core is the only chance that we have at achieving freedom and peace within this century, and all that while being highly profitable to those who support the cause!
