I came across a link declaring the cancellation of the hardfork this mid November earlier and this is a great news. Not worrying about the fork will make people buy and hold Bitcoins without having any doubts about what will happen before and after the fork. Bitcoin wins again  So Perhaps we can see Bitcoin on 10,000 USD sooner than we thought?

Exactly. The correction is useful in building the momentum for Bitcoin to launch to the moon. Segwit2x being cancelled removed the fear of some weak investors meaning panic selling won't come around any time sooner. A rally might get underway sooner or later. I just hope that there will no news that will intercept with the foreseeable bullish run.

I think there will be some correction happen about bitcoin price. And I am seeing green days for altcoins, so most will into altcoin to have profit. But eventually bitcoin price will go to the moon.

When?  It is still unknown why bitcoin keep on increasing in price and altcoin turning green.  Oh well instead of thinking probably ill just wait here and relax, either way I guess i can earn profit from it.   I also think that bitcoin proved that he is already immune with this kind of event, and the hype is still strong reason why it keep on increasing in price,  Bitcoin is almost at $8k a few tens of  dollars left  to hit this mark.

First, we're talking about an 8MB block size limit. Segwit's block size increase brought it to 4MB. 2x would bring it to 8MB, which is one of the reasons for all of the contention. That's a pretty massive increase in data propagation for nodes and small miners to take on. I'd expect marginal nodes to shut down from bandwidth costs and marginal miners to shut down (or centralize) from increased orphaning.

Secondly, it wasn't really backed by users or developers. Just some companies in the ecosystem who want more capacity. Meanwhile, most of those companies aren't using Segwit yet.....

As we observed that, while hardfork is coming the more btc go higher but in contrary to the effect of altcoin price-is dumping. Since segwit2x is canceled we expected to normalize the flow of bitcoin but it isn't affect to it's price today. If this is still continuing its stability in$7k+, it could be an indication that bitcoin will be achieving more.

Yes it's true that the hard fork is cancelled but we should not be celebrating because this may be a tentative postponement and that soon after they have prepared segwit2x it will still pursue. Also regardless of whether there's a fork or none we should not be worried about bitcoin price because it was not affected by them in fact bitcoin still continue to increase even a week before the expected fork.

I think of the opposite, I think people will used Bitcoin to buy alt coin and can caused it to drop a little bit, I think alt coin is the one going to the moon, but for long term it will be a good, less forking will make increase trust from the investors

There are two possibilities right now, either price will rise because people will continue to invest in Bitcoin, hence bitcoin gains more value than before. Or Bitcoin price will have a correction as people are either investing or dumping Bitcoin for better value making a decrease in it's value and it may touch 6k USD again. But the latter possibility is likely to happen more.

Sigwith2x is cancelled and this may be a sign that bitcoin is going to get pump this end of the year to the level were nobody has predict for this year! Traders are watching of what is going to happen and I expect bitcoin to resort on the way it has been carried the cryptocurrencies along. We should expect altcoins to also get pump as we have see that some of them has started to recover and we expect this to continue happening tell the end of the year.

Definitely, SegWit2x as it sounds is no more, due to lack of majority and now there is no reason for Bitcoin to stop few hours ago, after the news there was dumping in Bitcoin but now everything seems back to normal and one can expect touching $8,000 very soon. Bitcoin is increasing at a rapid rate due to which some are worried and other are fearing due to its enormous power but i believe this makes Bitcoin different from others giving new possibilities in short interval of time.

The use of the word DEAD in the title is misleading.
The oficial announcement uses the word SUSPENDING which would suggest it will be back.

Well whatever the consequences of this botched fork has on bitcoin in the long term really has no affect on the short term pricing which i think will continue to skyrocket for the moment being anyways. The price should easily reach $10k by year end.

Thing is, this botched fork at least gives investors more room to work with in terms of buying. Otherwise they feel pressured since the network will be divided or whatnot.

The bull trend should last until the next fork announcement comes out.

You know what mate? That segwit was already fixed this time and I am confident that we can see the stabilized bitcoin price right now, as selling and buying is balance with the bitcoin economy right now. There's nothing to be afraid of for this and I know by the time blockchain network is improved moreover well that the time bitcoin transactions will hit the profitable price. Most importantly we are here to witness the current progress of bitcoin and Segwit2x and fork or whatsoever speculations wouldn't make us panic in either ways.

Segwit2x is not dead as their developers only announced a delay in the implementation due to lack of current consensus. We do not know what is their actual plan at the moment. They could try again once a higher percentage of the community will support the new technology. I hope it won't happen soon. It does create too much uncertenty.

I would not be sure that this would happen, most of the people had put money in Bitcoins anticipating the fork and for free money, now that there's no free money, people will move out and that could lead to a Slight correction plus if you read cmse want to control Bitcoin which i feel is bad for Bitcoin, I think it would be a miracle if Bitcoin survives this next few days. It's not a good time for the crypto Kings, it's got enemies towards all sides.
