I think you had a good point here mate, ethereum has its own algorithm and mining at GPU is really showing more good feedbacks. That's right its better correspond to decentralized nature of cyptocurrencies, and with bitcoin's mining feature I am certain that either of those two will have it's good future in terms of mining preferences. Actually I can't choose exactly what's the best because each parties had been performing so well as per reviews of mining investors.

The best in this category of mining would be compared by profit. I think if you're mining both Bitcoin and Ethereum with two same specs of miners then the winner would be either of the two. For me, a clear winner is Ethereum because Bitcoin is really hard to mine today and everyone's wants to earn more Bitcoin but Ethereum although a lot of people are actually mining both Bitcoin and Ethereum but there are lesser miners in Ethereum than Bitcoin.

I think Ethereum mining is far more better nowadays than bitcoin mining. Ethereum mining is easy because the number of ethereum coins is more than bitcoin. Also bitcoin is mined in a very little quantity which costs high. So, I am in favour of ethereum mining.

Both are extremely competitive and are mined non-stop. In either of them you'll have difficulties mining as a normal user because there are so many big player in the field already involved in this. They are spending a lot of money in hardware and are heavily invested in it, so if you want to start mining it will cost you lots of money, it's going to be quite competitive and you're better off buying the cryptos with fiat rather than mining it, but that's up to you of course.

maybe the best one next can be bitcoin gold mining ? since the algoritmas has been changed into equihash
so it will be easy for miners to mine it with just gpu or cpu

In a way, it depends on the hardware for mining you have. However, I will rather support those ones, who see more pluses and avdantages in Ethereum mining. It becomes difficult to get BTC, but as we know ETH will be not mining crypto in near future.
