Human is the highest form of God's creation. Only human receives holy communion and forgiveness from God.
You don't see cows, dogs cats and others praying in the church.
But who knows? maybe these animals also pray but only in their own language that we don't understand.
But, if this is so, then we are worst than any low level animals.

Since we dont know how animals really "live" their lives there is no way on how to answer this question.
If you look at it at a human's perspective then definitely not. All understanding about animal behaviors and characteristics are based on human observation and perspective. We have classified them according to how we see it fit. However, there are a lot of things that still surprises animal behaviorists because they said it was "unexpected".

Of course not. Animals don't have the same advancement and values as us.

I dont think its the same. i think most of animals are a lot more activated by ancient parts of brain that controlled by impulses and instinct. They think less about purpose of things.

Humans are actually animals, so my answer would be yes! And the purpose of any animal is to survive and to reproduce.

I think it is an unanswerable question because you cant be both but in general no. Humans have much deeper thinking process which allows us to reason and perhaps make changes to how we live. Whereas most animals
only have the hind brain which is the thing that keeps you eating and alive. There main goal in life is to eat and stay alive that is about it this is a generalization of course but overall majority of animals function this way.

What do you think guys ?
Yes, I sense that all beings that are conscious have the same big-picture purpose. In my view, we are all players in this complex game of life. If you ask what's the purpose I think it's evolution of consciousness by making good choices. But that's just me and I'm sure everyone has their own metaphor for this.

What do you think guys ?
Of course not. Animals live and survive thanks to their instincts. People do what they want, they do not need any instincts.

I'm sure mantis and I have different meaning of life. As far as I remember my wife didn't bit off my head after successful coitus and I'm still able to raise my child along her Being serious though, I guess we're able to create ourselves the meaning of life since we are able to make decisions on so many more levels than animals and that makes us different.

Pretty much. The ultimate goal of life is to make more life for animals and humans alike. All this "legacy" you leave after you die has only one purpose - to make your offspring more effective at making childen, nothing else matters in the grand scale of things.

What do you think guys ?
Humans or animals, too, want to live and be raised. There are animals that live only a day or maybe a week, which is too unfair for them, as for human beings, babies are born that can not enjoy life anymore. .
