With so many daily ICOs launching, some people might be confused as to where they should invest.

What would make you invest in today's running ICOs?

Is it the Whitepaper?
Is it the Website design?
Is it the Project Team?
Is it the Product?

This is a very important question that one need to answer before investing in any new project to avoid the risk of losing once capital. Before I invest my money into any new project I mostly take into consideration the Products, the real Team behind the project and the White paper of the project which gives me confidence before I invest my money into any new projects and it is working for me all this while.

All points you mentioned are useful when it comes to determine how credible the ICO is.
To be honest, I don't really care about website design since you can buy a great template with few bucks.
There are many other things you can check as how much the project team invested to advertise their ICO also their previous experience...
It is all about the team, a good tea can make any project succeed.

I try to avoid project with huge supply and huge hard cap. I feel they are just collecting money to run away with it.
Hard cap should be proportional with the cost of the project.

If I were to invest in an ICO everything should be something I could be confident of. All the legal aspects should be spotless of errors and with trusted people behind it. Although you can't really be sure about an ICO if its good or not, I should trust my instinct before investing. I only invest what I can afford to lose so I won't be crying in the end if it goes bad.

It would definitely be wise to take into consideration the Whitepaper and Roadmap ofcourse, but it is important that the ICO has very solid team! The team is the backbone of every ICO and without a solid team, the project will fail.

I would agree with the thread, Website is important to be clear and user friendly. Whitepaper and Roadmaps must be achievable and real. A good team with great support will help the project succeed.

An ICO that have already a good product that you can test, a good roadmap. And also REASON to buy token/crypto from the company after the ICO end. If everyone who want to buy, bought it at start, you can't sell it.

They can create the best Whitepaper ever, and all can believe into the project. I would invest into an ICO if I were absolutely sure in the team of the company. Naturally, the product itself also matters very much.

The first thing I would consider before joining any ICO is the community! If there are investors, bounty hunters, developets, bug fnder etc are many in s community of any ICO for that matter, the likelyhood that the ICO will be successful is very high!

I think you are right, too many ICO "Teams" impersonate other people and use their linkedin links in their profiles.
Many "devs" are just script kiddies that can't make a html website.

First of i need to know if they have working product. If they have then its legit project.

Everything is important, look of the site, whitepaper, who is behind the project, and in the end product must be perfect. What ico wish to accomplish with their token, what they wish to do with it. I participated in few presales cause I saw some potential in icos I chose, that means I think in the future they can find their place and worth much more then they worth now with discount in presales.

Well to me noting will make me invest in today ICOs, because they are all scam.

Most of them will be, there is no question about it! Recent one was `Confido`, headlines are Cryptocurrency Confido disappears with $375,000 from an ICO, and nobody can find the founders. Be careful, no one say its easy to invest in tokens that worth cent`s now and wait year or two to take out some high profit, risk and gain, or watch others how they do it!

The first is the viability of the project. I'll check whether they have any working product or existing service. I also check the strength of their team and advisors. Once they've passed in these stages, I'll begin to consider other options.

I consider everything but come on man the majority of the people who join ICO don't give a damn about all you have mentioned above. people will buy if they get the hype.
Well for me it's about the idea behind a project. I only participate in a few ICO like, wings,wave,rise,alis (don't judge me on rise pls) because I see their vision about something different in this crypto sphere (pls don't judge me about rise again, I know that one is stupid in the beginning) and they turn out to be a good investment, well yeah waves kinda suck because their rough ico distribution and their polo screw up listing, but yeah you get the idea.

I look at all of the four points you talk about, very thoroughly. Too many scams out there, you have to be careful and study every aspect of a project before actually investing in it.

Not only the number of scams is discouraging the amount of people investing in icos, the growth of bitcoin is doing that as well bitcoin is going up in this year like no one imagined and the bigger the profits we can get with bitcoin the less interested people will be with icos and if we take into account the incredible profits we could get in the next year then it is not really a surprise that icos are having a hard time getting investors.

You have a very good point there, what about the big whales? Do they also save all their bitcoins?

I do not know about that since I’m not a whale but I suppose they are the ones that have the more to lose and as such they need to take care their bitcoin more than anyone if they do not they could easily lose their bitcoins, besides why would they choose to risk their bitcoin when they already have more bitcoin than they could use in their lives.

Well the things that make me invest in today's running ICOs is there are still many promising ICOs that we can make many profit for, but before i invest for in ICO's i am sudying all or detetermining what is really the best ICO's to invest for, but when the ico's have a very soild team i am directly investing with it because i believe that strong team can make the projects succesful.

I will be decide to make investment in some ICO based on their Team and their working product. These 2 category is more important than others thing  to find potential ICO. Investors will feel confident  with that ICO if the founder already has a real successful product before, and they already have a large and powerful community. And for whitepapper, is still a plan that has not been possible in realizing yet.
