Is there any real difference between Market cap and Hard cap? Anyone here can please explain me what is market cap in exact. How will the market cap of an ICO influence its reach to the investors?

"Market cap" and "hard cap" and mainly used in different scenarios. The market cap means the total amount of money involved in a particular crypto currency accumulating all traceable volume from every possible source. Whereas, the hard cap is mainly used by the ICO owners which denotes the maximum amount of investment they are willing to take. So if an ICO says that their hard cap is 5 million USD, then they will stop their token sale once that amount is raised through the selling process. Hard cap doesn't have a direct relation with market cap. Hope this helps!

Market cap is the total market value while hard cap is the propose  amount that the company want to get at the end of the ICO. That is why you will hear that some ICO did not reach their hard cap.
