Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Avoid this site like the plague. Just found this on Reddit. Cough up your payment to the app developer who is from south-east asia and who $5000 USD is a lot to him. And reverse the PayPal dispute YOU started for the part of it that you did pay. It looks like Coinmitted UK Limited is a scam.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/a3vru4/coinmitted_scam_me/

This is a UK limited company, but chances are he will just wind down and start up again.

John Ollie Coles
Director • British • United Kingdom • Born in Nov 1985

Director   5 Sep 2018 – Active

Oliver Mark William
Director • British • United Kingdom • Born in Jan 1976

These are the two directors of Coinmitted UK Limited if the names are real, so do not invest with any company hosted by those two directors.

I have written this response to give the maximum possible response to search engines, and have suggested the guy scammed post it all to ripoffreport and other sites to maximize search-engine ranking with these names.

WHOIS Lookup shows its a scam, no legit company would hide WHOIS data, though the address matches the registered company address:

Someone should report this to ICANN, because the details are false as the name is false. He isn't using WHOISGuard, but has entered Data Protected in his name, though their names are registered along with their dates of birth on the UK companies house: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/11553527
