In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

About US regulation of money transmitters

They lack awareness of the direct culpability society attaches to the Bitcoin dealer, if it later turns out that his Bitcoin customer dealt in drugs, terror, human smuggling, copyright infringement, hacking, or any type of criminal activity.
What an exquisitely horrible example of Newspeak

Scary how might insight it would seem our buddy George had.

He could have said, "my friends and I are going to look for excuses to come down like a ton of bricks on anybody using Bitcoin who doesn't strictly obey our demands" but being honest like that would make it too obvious that he and his friends are just a bunch of unreasonable, power-hungry assholes.

But as if by magic he can convey the exact same threat while putting on the veneer of civility by grammatically changing the responsible actor to "society".

It's a technique that I can admire insofar as recognizing a skillful execution even while feeling like I need to take a shower after reading it.

In his defense, most bitcoiners *are* in a state of denial, but probably about a vast amount of others things he isn't even discussing. Like their ROI of ponzi schemes and chain games, or their ability to "get rich", the price "always going up", etc.

... I guess everyone has to make a crust somehow .... juxtaposing innovation with compliance doesn't make it innovative though.

Last time I checked denial is a river in Egypt.
And no - i am not anywhere close to it.

So if most of you are there right now ... why didn't
you tell me.
I at least expect a post card.

don't let me make you question your assumptions
