I hope that bitcoins could really reach $50k dollar because it only means that everyone will be wealthy with just holding 1 coin and banks will really cry over cryptocurrency because people will choose to place their money on exchanger more than depositing on the banks. |

Probably. It is definitely not going above $10K per coin in 2018, unless a miracle occurs. By miracle, I mean an ETF approval by the SEC, or world-wide legalization of crypto-currencies including ICOs.
Not going above $10,000 for this year? Last year no one did even expected that it will break $10,000 so if you think that it won't get through above $10,000 this year, we will see. It has broken the wall of nearly $20,000 and I don't doubt that it will be surpassed this year. |

May be in a couple of years but definitely not in months, there is allot to do yet. Lots of people still unknown about the advantages of Bitcoin. If everyone starts accepting it then we may see that price sooner.
Indeed, as we can see bitcoin is being stable at 7-8k usd and there's no sign of change. But there's a possibility for bitcoin to rise up again since we are just arriving at the middle of the year and as you can remember last year as the ber months came the bitcoin also raging up that make its reach 20k usd. Therefore, that was the proof that bitcoin was unpredictable so we can't claim that bitcoin whether going to rise of going down. |

I don't know although bitcoin is recovering now it is doing so at a very slow pace and we know there is also the possibility of more people selling and dumping their coins onto the market due to panic and then increasing the amount of supply in the market without enough demand to balance it out, the prices will go down.

Things might not gone as expected. Bitcoin is having a rough start this year. The market price fell hard and Bitcoin is having a hard time to be back to its state last year whereas the market value was close to 20000 usd. There is a chance for bitcoin to have such an expensive market value but I think it won't happen this year since volatility is really observable right now.

That's hard to happen, well infact from 20k last December, smoothly drops down to 6k recently, from that on, bitcoin suffers difficulties to bounce back. 50k are unrealistic. Maybe at the end of this year about 25k perhaps are possible.

Nah i do not think so that bitcoin will be 50 000$ in next couple of months , may be in end of this year bitcoin will hit 30 000$ but not more , that is very hard way will be to eat this selling walls.

I am just reading on article that analyst from saxobank make prediction that bitcoin price will reach $100k on this year, maybe end this years. Hopely prediction bitcoin price to $50k on couple months is true because everybody on cryptomarket must be happy if they are bitcoin holder
Actually there has been a lot of so called experts that see's bitcoin going like $50K-$100K. But the problem is that those experts doesn't understand that everything is purely speculative. Just go back and see what are their predictions like last year and you wouldn't seen anyone says that it can go to $20K. So let just wait and it really goes to $50K or not. As for me, I wouldn't take those expert prediction seriously, well its a good boost for us to see predictions like this but, its better to used our common sense and be careful about putting our money on crypto so that we will not be disappointed in the end. thats why most of the time i hate going to speculation thread or in economics section,because more of the posters there only creating false hopes for us,imagine theres some members or what they called "experts"that predicting $100,000 value for a single bitcoin in which really unbelievable..i would rather trust those who says bitcoin will settle in $8,000-10,000 because this sounds realistics than the OVER PRICING SPECULATIVE OPINIONS of others |

50k maybe it will appear in the dream. It is impossible for Bitcoin to reach 50k. What we see now is that Bitcoin prices are dropping a lot. From 20k to 7k. But for Bitcoin's price to reach 50k I think it will take three or four more years |

Yeah iam sure it will be like that , but may be not 3 or 4 year but we need a lot of time to get positions back to old levels, so we just need to keep a hope in bitcoin and all of that markets at all |

Dont forget that its only speculative tools , none of them have good working platform with their own economic , yes ethereum have platofrm but its old technology already , only one cryptokittes could kill ethereum with tons of transaction. |

I think to achieve 50k bitcoin takes in a matter of years, bitcoin can indeed increase anytime, but for an increase to 50k I think bitcoin takes 2 years. |

It is too early for that, the time is too short for bitcoin to jump from $7,000 to $50,000. Not unless if bitcoin will be pumped non-stop 24/7. This could happen, however, not that fast. It can happen maybe a year from now as people are learning more and more about bitcoin. |

Right now the situation here seems more like something that's impossible because even if the price of Bitcoins reaches it's previous high then I would be pretty shocked ..
Because it needs to recover a lot and recovery is a slow process.
I don't know what is giving him that much confidence about bitcoins , well hope that happens.

The price which you have stated is surely achievable but not within few months but after few years because for that much level the market cap needs to exceed to $250billion and much more and it can only happen if more are aware about the usage of bitcoin and various benefits associated with usage. But we can witness the price up-to $20k by the year end.
