That heatsink is HUGE. I got three USB Block Erupters. And the cooler on the picture above is the smallest of all three. Here are the other ones:

You seems to paint the lily. The oringe heatsink is enough. 你的做法是画蛇添足。

My USB fan is doing a great job keeping mine cool. That heatsink is cool, but probably overkill. Not to mention, I wouldn't be able to still fit them in my hub next to each other.

Look for GPU memory heatsinks, the individual ones. They'd be perfect size.

Those sinks will not fit in 10+ hubs, like Anker. Just blow air at it, they are cool to touch.

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Hahaha, fabulous, qwk! Is the entire heatsink getting hot or at least warm? Try removing the original heatsink and attach the Erupter along with its original thermal-pad on your heatsink. Dont worry, its not sticky or anything.

I like to overdo stuff: HAHA omg. A heatsink designed for 100W of heat, and it's dissipating 3W? 2.5W? 7W/mK? If you were serious about cooling your miner, you'd get the best thermal pads money can buy: Fujipoly 17W/mK.

Is the entire heatsink getting hot or at least warm? Luke warm to the touch. I get a reading of up to 30 C˚ on my thermometer. Hottest spot on the Asic is about 51 C˚. Try removing the original heatsink and attach the Erupter along with its original thermal-pad on your heatsink. Dont worry, its not sticky or anything. I'll see

Alright, now I am REALLY interested in the values after you remove the original heatsink!

Did some experiments with forced air cooling of my USB Erupter. See attached plot, what a little USB powered fan can do: http://imgur.com/co3Z0uFintron

Taped a tiny Pt100 sensor to the heatsink and recorded the temperature over time. When the temperature was at it's max, a fan was pointed at it. You can see nicely the huge effect a simple fan has. Used this fan: http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/equipment/peripherals/55/arctic-breeze-mobile.html?c=2185intron

Alright, now I am REALLY interested in the values after you remove the original heatsink! OMG, more than 70 C˚! Probably because i don't have anything to push the asic down onto my heatsink, it's just lying on top with maybe a tiny layer of air separating it from the sink. Guess I'll have to find some huge oversized clamps somewhere.
