The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Those sinks will not fit in 10+ hubs, like Anker.  Just blow air at it, they are cool to touch.
Yes. Original heatsink plus usb fan is enough.

Greetings.

I have 2 CPU fans blowing directly my 2 USB Gizmos and now they don't go higher than 40ºC. But with a ARCTIC Breeze Mobile (or another equivalent), it will stay fixed to the same HUB you are using for the USB Gizmos.

I already bought this kit @ eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121059845105?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

The kit contains:

  • 1 x SoC Heatsink with pre-applied tape (14x14x10mm)
  • 1 x LAN Heatsink (8x8x6mm)
  • 1 x Voltage Regulator Heatsink (8x6x5mm)
  • 1 x Thermal Tape
  • 1 x Installation Guide

As the BE100 ASIC ship is the one who has more thermal emission and measures 6x6mm, the best heatsink of the kit is the Voltage Regulator Heatsink (8x6x5mm). But as the 8x8x5mm LAN heatsink also fits in the space, I'll use it for the ASIC of my second USB Gizmo.

I will glue those heatsinks directly on the ASIC's with the included thermal tape.

Best regards.

Three RAM heatsinks with adhesive tape on the existing heatsink, and one MOS heatsink with adhesive tape on the BE100 chip. Can easily be removed, and are sourced for next to nothing on ebay. Seems to work (they get really hot). I place them in the USB ports of my computers where the exit airflow from the case helps a bit.

So funny story, I've been doing that for about the last 10 months or so with my FPGA Single. Slapped a big old solid copper heatsink on it from an old computer I had lying around that died years ago. This is it without the top fan (I took it off to clean it, as you can see.  Shocked Shocked Shocked ) This let me bumped it up from barely 816 to the 880 firmware, with lower temps.

Enough cooling, I thought I'd rather train my Blockraptor to use the heat for frying eggs:
