Start a meetup group yourself and see what happens. I tried one in Seoul Korea, but no Dice as of yet. Only got one response.  many good things started by one alone person and after hard work have many around them |

It is already updated, though it takes a few minutes to actually be visible online. The Argentina and the Afrikoin event aren't selling tickets or disclose the location of the event yet. I'm keeping an eye on them. |

COINFEST is the biggest Bitcoin event in Canada, so far as I am aware. We have booths, demonstrations, and games like scavenger hunts and a poker room. We also have live music for part of the time, Bitcoin traders, and a faucet that gives a generous amount of free BTC to newbies. We also match your poker buy-ins.
Most conferences end up consisting of just Bitcoiners, but COINFEST is designed to appeal to the mainstream. There are enough programmers and money-men in Bitcoin, already, so our PR guy wanted to focus on the masses. This means the people you can show off your product or service to have no brand loyalties, yet, and are mostly buyers.
The last one, COINFEST: Round 2, had a bunch of university students come down for the Bitcoin amazing race, where they visit all the venues we signed up to accept Bitcoin. The next one will be called COINFEST 2014 and be even bigger. I might need to get a new Bitcoin venue for the next one after that... COINFEST is only held at places that accept Bitcoin, to support adoption and the Bitcoin economy.

As the price of bitcoins are so volatile and we are trying to promote the use of bitcoins we cannot keep adjusting the price, so we will make any adjustments at the event or I will personally buy you a drink to make up for the difference. |
