StormTrack5 Weather Today's Forecast Today's Forecast Image ** Heat Advisory Until 7:00 PM ** Today will be a hot July day with enough humidity to make the afternoon air feel like it's over 100 degrees. Mostly sunny skies and southerly winds will push our afternoon high to 96 by mid afternoon making today one of the hottest days of the season so far. Slim rain chances and slightly cooler air works in this weekend before a welcome wave of much cooler air arrives next week. http://www.kctv5.com/category/214521/7-day-forecastYeah it's a good idea to stay in house and do nothing, this temperatures are very dangerous to play with. I have headache every day when it's so hot since i don't drink much and it's a problem for me.

I absolutely love summer I can't even imagine people don't like it....
Granted I live in MN...and our seasons go like this Winter-->Fall-->Winter-->Spring-->Winter-->Summer for 1 month which means rains 50% of the time-->Fall--
We have had 1 day where we reached 90 degrees or above this summer...and its nearly over already...all you people can suck it that live in warm climates!

I prefer Spring
Spring is awesome because it's getting warm after a long winter. Flowers are beginning to peek through the earth. And a warm summer is yet to come. Yes, spring definitely is an awesome season!

Unless you are from Minnesota....Where spring means the snowiest month of the year, and you aren't out of the hellhole winter yet...

I get that plus hayfever so If I don't take my Piriteze I get really ill, like not just a sneeze or two but full on headaches and I feel like I've got a really bad cold/flu so I know your pain. Good news on my end though! It's going to cool down massively on Sunday they say so that's awesome.

I remember where there was a news media obsession in the U.S about doing that lmao As do I although, I always thought myself that it made more sense to cook it in the car Put the frying pan in there and let the boiling heat do the work without worrying about those pesky flies On the car works too lol.

I wonder how many people replying in this thread stating they like summer live in a location where summer could actually be deadly? Admittedly I love winter but here in Southern California we had 1 day with 97F this past winter. The coldest it got was 34F overnight low - not even freezing.
About 100 miles from me is Death Valley which has the hottest recorded temps on Earth.
For those who claim they like summer, what kind of summer are you talking about?
Exactly. These people who say they love summer probably live in winter hell and summer must mean they see 50 or 60F highs. At least we don't have too much humidity here in SoCal but when we get that Gulf moisture and Santa Anas it can get nasty with 100+ temps and near 100% humidity. This is only July. I fear the 110s coming in August/September - this has been the hottest summer ever recorded out west US.

My mum came home because she was stuck in an overheated office yesterday, classic case of "How hot was it" and when she said I wasn't surprised at all she became ill, they were stuffing her and other people in a cramped and high up office with little ventilation. On a more serious note, people just don't realise how much the heat can affect them and that's why you get people dying or suffering heat strokes etc. during these heat waves.

Still pretty brutal here. Muggy too, in addition to the heat this weekend. Nice at the beach, though. Cold beer, hot girls on the beach, fish and chips on the pier.... OP, summer ain't so bad.
