China's contribution to Bitcoin is indeed great. I certainly hope China can return to bitcoin. If China returns to bitcoin, the value of bitcoin must have risen. This is all investors are willing to see. Of course, this still depends on the Chinese government's decision. Smiley

I think the Chinese banned some bitcoin and ico markets but China is still a big digging country with a lot of miners in the country and also many diggers here. I think China still has a big influence on the bitcoin market.

The chinese are smart they will go back eventually. I am positive that it's just a way of them to show they are the boss. Funny though that bitcoin has shown we don't need china. Korea and Japan have taken their place, and since bitcoin is legal in japan and korea i dont' care about china anymore.

dont think china ever got out of bitcoin.
the exchanges are closing down but they just moved to hongkong or korean based exchange
the miner are still there and from what i heard not going anywhere soon because of the electricity cost is so cheap there.

but of course if China allowing china based exchanges to be open again it would drive the price up again including the altcoin price

I really want China back to bitcoin so the process of the pump of the price of bitcoin to $10000 will become faster because there is a lot of people in china that have a lot of money and if they will get into bitcoin then it will add more demand to bitcoin that will result for a faster pump.

As i know this ban at bitcoin is just a rumor, sometime ago some well know big mining companies had warned about those, but all China did were legalize exchanges and any service, company related to bitcoin, i dont know if they had already released those, but be sure that China still in the game, they cant ignore something as bitcoin after felt the power of it. But well if they arent official into, it doesnt matter, since there are a lot home miners from their due to low cost of energy, soo i doubt they can stop crypto world with such beneficts.

I would certainly like to see the Chinese markets open up,there was a time when the Chinese made the difference in volume and control the price of bitcoin but things have changed a lot from that situation even though the Asian community has a much bigger influence in the entire market,it will be interesting to see how they could influence again once the exchanges are open.

You greedy human being, we're close to the $10,000 level already, so the few days or weeks that it will take to finally reach there won't hurt you. China has proven to be nothing but an obstacle for Bitcoin's growth, and if we look further, people even believed that China was the main reason for Bitcoin to have value. From there people just assumed that China's 'exit' would have a major impact on this market, but it didn't. Instead, we have seen the market increase to higher levels than ever before, and that faster than ever before. It perfectly shows that we don't need China to be part of this market, and we certainly don't need them to come back.

There is no question that China is a big market for anything and if this market can be developed well its power and influence can be felt for good. I believe that China can be a good contributor outwards the overall success of the cryptocurrency movement. Do you think we should welcome China again to the Bitcoin market?

Future of Cryptocurrencies in China

It is important to note that this ban is, most likely, temporarily. The fact is that China had already banned Bitcoin trading in 2013 and this year imposed a 4 month freeze on exchanges due to security issues. Regardless of the events, the Public Bank of China is very interested in distributed ledger technology, having devised a five-year development plan that focus on researching and developing blockchain technology. Not only that but according to some reports the Chinese government is also developing and testing their own state cryptocurrency.

In a closing note, there are now rumors that Bitcoin exchanges might be reopening. This speculation was felt in the market, with Bitcoin prices surpassing the previous all-time high of $6300. Reports indicate that the policies forbidding crypto trading were examined in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and that they might be lifted. It was also speculated that a new Chinese cryptocurrency platform, speculated to be controlled by the Chinese government, might be up and running by the 1st of November. Read more here...

Bitcoin is now totally not dependent on china. But if china gets back, surely it would increase bitcoin price as there is a huge population in china which would trigger its price more. But if china once again re enters bitcoin market, definitely it would definitely contribute more for bitcoin progress since china has largest number of mining firms and i hope that it still has the lion's  share in bitcoin.

It is cool.
But if it will just confuse people again then it is good to leave it this way.
Bitcoin grows even without and it is still hard to mine even without their big farmers. The amount of miners all over the world is also growing.
So I guess it is better off, or if you want another fall then let them join, there will be a sure one big fall.

That is for sure that China will come back and it will be another boost for bitcoin, I think they will never repeat the mistake, bitcoin is now getting popular specially in young generation because they are now giving more importance to online shopping and trading and  bitcoin is the best opportunity with them to use for online shopping and trading.

When China ban bitcoin it was a great loss, we can see a gigantic downfall in bitcoins value. China holds 70% of bitcoin miners that contribute for increasing the value of bitcoin, if China goes back in bitcoin, we surely feel the greatest increase of bitcoin instantly and it was good for the investor and for bitcoin itself.

Even if China doesn't return, it is totally fine because bitcoin now is already recovered and still going strong.

China was the largest player in the crypto-currency market and an important factor in its growth. After the ban in China, the world thought that Bitcoin came to an end. But now the initiative is intercepted by Japan and Russia. Bitcoin rate beats all records, but China does not participate in this. I don`t think that China should return to the game. Bitcoin does ok without it. The return of China, like its withdrawal, can lead to significant fluctuations in the rate, which is very undesirable for investment.

As far as I know, there are still some miners in China despite of the ban. But China really made a huge impact on bitcoin, if China stops the ban and continue to use again bitcoin, there will be a huge pump immediately.

If china comeback with Bitcoin it will surely increase its market value, plus china has the cheapest labore fee and electricity a very suitable location for mining.

Actually, even without china the value of bitcoin will continue to grow his value, but if china accept bitcoin again and all ICO's in china invest again, the bitcoin value is highly increase for his value, that's why i agree if the china invest again.

Since bitcoin is doing so well even without the Chinese i think its better we keep them out as their numbers will help but we don't want their governments intrusions with bans and trying to halt bitcoin operations within his jurisdiction.
