I think electronic currency or bitcoin could be use in different sector if we can convert it instantly from virtual currency to national or international currency by the help of center bank of different country. otherwise if  country's government can take some necessary steps like every bit coin holders have ability to open a bank account by help of center bank through their electronic currency then electronic currency will be more popular like other currency. this steps can build strong module of investment for developing economical condition. even electronic currency holders will secured and they will fear to do any crime because government always monitoring through a security system.
