FROM knc forum: KnCMiner 28nm Die Photos - Hot of the Press from our Packaging Assembly House 19th September 2013, 05:08 PM Guy’s, below we have some photos to share from our packaging house in Asia who are currently are in possession of our wafers; slicing and packaging the dies into the chips you and we so badly want to get our hands on. The finish line is in sight. A few sleepless nights yet, but we are doing everything we can to keep our delivery promise. This is nail-biting to say the least. Going to post some more hosting facility pictures on the forum later today as well. So look out for those. They’re from last weekend, something else we’ve forgone for the immediate future. Let’s just take a moment to thank or very understanding wives, and children, who have been exceptionally restrained and understanding considering the last few months. We’re all looking forward to making amends on some lost time there. However, there are a couple of pictures below, we know you’ve anxiously wanted to see. As you can see we’ve managed to etch our logo onto the die itself. To give you some idea of scale, the logo itself is just under 1mm in height; http://forum.kncminer.com/filedata/fetch?photoid=2546

Hey, Trust me we are as impatient as you guys are.. We're really hoping to get some good news today or tomorrow. It's still September although it seems unlikely that we'll be hashing tomorrow. As soon as we know a date, you'll know it. Everything on our end is ready so it should be plug and play once we have them. Cheers

I think tyrion and blastbob are sleeping right now, but these are the last 2 news we heard from them Today started almost 34 hours ago.. In those 34 hours we did our normal dayjobs, travelled to Sweden, picked up 9 miners, drove them to the datacentre and spend the better part of the morning and afternoon getting them up and running..
They are running now! the 9 miners are currently running a comfortable 4.5TH! Considering we still get three more we really can’t complain.
Now it’s time for a little rest so we can continue with some setups and statistics tomorrow!
Cheers!!

Tyrion70, Blastbob, please issue direct shares to those of us in the US.
I am US based and asked for shares in bitfunder. Is there a reason why a direct share is better for me. btcelc please PM me if you have a reason for your shares to be direct issue. since my shares are not issued if there is a tax law please let me know of it. TY If we can't get them via direct shares then we are screwed, see below....the share price is already below cost. In addition I have shares across all 3 group buys and am waiting for the other two group buy shares to be issued. Important Notice (October 8th, 2013):
Please be advised that BitFunder is implementing the following rules and procedures:
As of October 8th, 2013, BitFunder will not accept new registrations from any United States persons or entities. All new registrants must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account. BitFunder may, in its sole direction, decline to accept any new registrations.
As of October 8th, 2013, all current BitFunder users who are located in the United States or are determined to be United States persons or entities will not be able to enter into any new positions on the Bitfunder website, and, as of November 1, 2013, such users will also not be allowed to sell positions on the BitFunder website.
All current BitFunder users who are not United States persons or entities must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account before November 1, 2013. Any such users who fail to provide the necessary information will not be able to enter into or sell positions on the BitFunder website as of November 1, 2013.
Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013.
All assets and issuers must demonstrate that they meet BitFunder's requirements for the listing of assets, or the assets and issuers will, at BitFunder's sole discretion, be denied access to, or removed from, the site. Issuers will be notified of any additional information needed to demonstrate compliance with BitFunder's requirements.
BitFunder appreciates your understanding in these matters as we move forward.
Sincerely, BitFunder

What a bunch of B.S. I just checked the value of addiction shares. Sure drove the value down. I won 50 shares at the beginning of this group buy, and am stuck now. Please do not issue me more bitfunder shares. I'm pissed, and I don't have much in there. I guess it's not gonna raise in value. I guess it should be a good thing for non-US users that can buy shares at a low rate. After this (ad)venture I'm probably done with bitcoins. Sure seems to be something at every step causing it to be undesirable before ever getting a return. Maybe I just need to take a dump...

Sounds like you won't be able to buy if you are in the US, or sell after November 1stregardless if you are verified.

Hey all! Just posted news on share transfers and divs here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=244042.msg3308356#msg3308356Please read carefully. For ppl that only have shares on GB2 and GB3: If you previously said you wanted shares on Bitfunder and now prefer direct shares on a BTC address please let us know in the next 48 hours by sending a PM to me. In that PM please state your Bitfunder userID, the BTC address you used to pay for the shares and the BTC address on which you want your shares registered. In the weekend we will not be able to process more PMs because we will be busy setting up the miners, so if you haven't PMd then please wait untill after the weekend. We will be issuing the Bitfunder shares of GB2 (and hopefully GB2 as well) this weekend. Cheers, BlastBob & Tyrion70
