Since the 2X news, BTC seems to be going down every hour. Whats everyone thoughts? How low will it continue to drop, and whats the reason for the drop? Will BTC recover?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Bitcoin is adjusting to take its market price. There was no news that it was reacting to which make the pumping possible.  I think now is when the real market price will be determined.

I think it may slowly plummet till $4,000 and stabilize, just to begin to increase once again (if there aren't big news that may affect it)

This recent bear runs of the bitcoin is even long overdue. To to say the truth, the only thing that had sustained its bullish trend was the segwit2x and now that it isn't going to hold anymore, hence the dip. This should give room for the altcoin to go bullish now with hodlers of btc releasing the coins to purchase altcoins. So, btc fall is not surprising to many.

Today is Friday, most Fridays the price of bitcoin do drop but it does not mean that it will keep going down, I do not have any reason to panic because I know it will will still raise again. I think news will not stop bitcoin from raising again.

BTC has always recovered from all the shocks that it has faced in the very past and same will continue for sure. Not quite sure when does this happens but I am cetain about such happening.

The market is adjusting for the "quick cash" it lost when this was cancelled. IE, the dividends that were going to be issued. A pull back is not a bad thing if you care about the long term growth of Bitcoin. This is healthy.

It fluctuates so much. Isn't it already on the way back up now?

so now that it's dropping, bitcoin holders afraid it will drop more soon will start selling now to prevent further losses, which would typically lead the price to fall even more.
