So I'm not a newbie
per se, but not knowledgable enough about Bitcoin to know precisely what's going on here and how to approach the problem. If this is just a matter of Bitcoin that needs to be mined, I'll compensate anyone who does so.
For a while, I've made small investments in Bitcoin, including two purchases around New Year's. Both of these, I sent from Coinbase to my own MultiBit wallet. Both transactions are recognized by the network, but remain unconfirmed in my wallet. Their transaction statuses are still unknown. Considering how the value of Bitcoin has increased precipitously (and I'm rather broke), I'd love to have this matter resolved once and for all.
