I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed. I think it's great and hadn't realized that technology was that advanced, but don't manage to assess all the consequences that can have.

I think this is more like a marketing stuff. There is already a robot on the internet that types shit, the only difference is that that robot is speaking the words and it has a phisical shape.

Artificial intelligence is what is going to propel humans into the new age. We can't be scared of it because it's going to happen eventually, we really should embrace it.

To summarize, Sophia seems to be no more (and I suspect, far less) advanced than Siri or Alexa or Cortana. It’s a shame that so many people (and even governments) fell for this, because it contributes to the AI hysteria and grossly misleads the public about the state of the art in AI.
