Hey everyone,

I'm pretty much a newbie, so I'll apologize right away. I've used electrum once before, my transaction fees are set as dynamic and replaceable. However, I tried to send BTC from my electrum wallet yesterday, its status still unconfirmed 24+ hours later. Can someone offer me any help in dummy terms? The amount of BTC I am sending isn't that high, so I'm clueless as to why I haven't received any confirmations yet. Thanks!

The network is quite backlogged, even dynamic pricing from Electrum isn't helping. If you look in the Services section there are folks who will help with speeding up your transactions but even those are not guaranteed. It's a trying time the past 48 hours or so if you want to get your transaction through with even a fairly healthy fee.

ah, thanks everyone. Just wanted to make sure I didn't make any mistakes on my end. How long max. do transactions stay unconfirmed until BTC return to your electrum wallet?

Typically they expire from mempools in 72 hours at which point you can attempt the transaction again, that's been my personal experience.
