I thought of getting a domain to start a blog and searched for some websites I came across " web4africa.net " it was looking good and support talked to me for some time in starting.

Then I placed an order for 27$ incl domain and server tx id for this order " https://blockchain.info/tx/749b15f415cc54ca144a8ff3fa614923098e726f0940e5186319cedbe31f7d73 " 0.0046BTC

The order didn't go through next day I asked to support what's the matter they said your refund will be sent soon. I asked them if he can approve the order by himself but he said if you can pay manually he can.

He asked me if i can pay manually. I replied, sure I can.
He sent me his address and made another tx soon after "  https://blockchain.info/tx/fa6dcdd1e8d7241fd3b483d2a90ea576087100a6ef1630b237b104a7b7a11793 " 0.004688BTC
And after I released the funds support went offline and my chat was deleted there's no record of it.

So I lost a total of 54usd including 10usd fee.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Chats from support get deleted frequently and that alone cannot be a factor for determining it to be a scam. Wait for a couple of more days before actually claiming it to a scam. A few new companies that don't have much customer base tend to work slower. Though you should have waited for a refund first before sending it manually. There s no point of sending it twice and then expecting the other person to return the half of it. So yeah looks like you've been ripped. Be careful in the future and buy from the trusted ones only.

But not replying after the payment is made and showing they are online, don't you think it's fishy?
btw I contacted them today 3-4 times and 1st they said your deposits are not shown in their database yet until I show them both the deposit tx ids.
They said I will get refunded after talking with them for like 2-3 hours wasting time ...
Let us see what happens now.

Why would you purchase anything from a domain registrar containing the word 'africa' in its name lol? Nigeria rings any bells? lol.

I did get repaid for the domain and server after 5 days and they offered them me a discount on every purchase I make but I refused after looking at the support after.
