As per the statistics "Satoshi Nakamoto" mined around 1 million bitcoins in the early stages. So, he has gotten the same quantity of BCH as well.
What will happen if someday he might see his project at risk of overtaken by Bitcoin Cash. Could he be dump his BCH stake anytime?
Technically, it seems still possible. Don't forget that Satoshi may be a real person and he can really be having that much BTC and BCH at the same time. In this scenario, BCH would almost hit zero dollars. Everything's posible. But this is highly improbable. We have too many unknown factor in the above equation. Is he a person? Is he a group? Are/is they/he alive? We are not sure he create the bitcoin cash either. But let's say he's alive and can sell 1 million f BCH, it could be turned into BTC's advantage and hurt seriously BCH |

If i were satoshi nakamoto i would rather sell my bitcoin cash. Because in the law of supply in demand the higher the amount of bitcoin cash, the lower it's value. Not like bitcoins that the higher the amount then, it has higher value.

The price will drop a lot but then again people will realize that life will go on and soon, many investors would buy those dumped coins. Dumping his coins wouldn't automatically make the market crash I think, same goes for his bitcoin if he were to dump it too.

If Satoshi Nakamoto shows ANY sign of still being alive and involved in crypto, Bitcoin is INSTANTLY going to the moon. Everyone is gonna go totally crazy if he decides to show up, it won't even matter if he dumps BTC/BCH or whatever he does, just his presence will boost us a lot.

Well, it actually depends what kind of sign he gives. If you see his BTC wallet address going live, and you see him starting to sell coins, BTC would probably drop 80% in a matter of days (not because of his huge quantity, but people loosing faith in BTC). It is hard for inventors to sell their coins actually. People need to liquify their investment, and just because they sell some of their tokens, doesn't mean they don't trust their idea (there was a huge hype when Vitalik sold a tiny stash of his ETH, probably just to cover his life expenses). |

i guess he can easily dump bitcoin cash into deep if he want but i am not sure that he want to do this. we have get free bitcoin cash if we have bitcoin amount in our wallet especially if we have bitcoin in exchanges and i see many people is expecting to make money again from bitcoin cash. but i think the party is over now and it might be happen again in future so we can wait to make another profit with bitcoin cash. the one thing that we know, satoshi is at hidden place and watching the price and i think he make a lot of money from bitcoin cash too but he never show his self. |

I couldn't even fathom how you would sell 1 million coins aside from doing deals with a few exchanges or a company which exchanges FIAT into it.
If 1 Million went into the market now, you would see a drop in price as buyer demand decreases until all coins are accounted for.
I don't think the coin would crash, everyone knows how many are in circulation and at any point they could enter the market, but it would take a huge hit off the market cap until the buy/sell leveled out.

If Satoshi Nakamoto is alive and he has access to his coins, since he is not a stupid person, he will not commit rash acts that would sharply violate the achieved balance of bitcoin. However, if he does, then, of course, for a while, the price of bitcoin will drop sharply, but after a certain time, he will begin to rise to the previous level and higher.
I think you misunderstood the subject, this is a discussion whether will he dump Bitcoin Cash, not Bitcoin.. Of course, he wouldn't dump his own Bitcoin~~ |

Satoshi Nakamoto has created many controversies in the crypto world,his identity is still unknown.He had mined this bitcoin cash many years ago.We don't even know whether he still has access to his account.But if he does dump his bitcoin cash the crypto world will have to face a great downfall in it's value.It will put a drastic effect in the crypto world which would gradually lead to the rise of panic in people further causing downfall in the value.

Satoshi might not have any intention to destroy Bitcoin cash or any other hard fork as he don't need any credit or popularity for his invention BITCOIN, that why he got anonymous just after his invention. So i don't think he will mind if BCH rises with some better features from bitcoin. After all this coins are working on blockchain technology.
