Hello,

I just redesigned my website searchbitcoin and I am wanting feedback. Let me know what you think, and if there are any problems viewing it in your browser.

Is the website to bland?
Are there any parts of the website that are confusing?
What would add value to the website?

Thanks!

First, is http://www.searchbitcoin.com/ the url?

If so.  To answer, it is bland, which isn't a bad thing as it makes that ticker with the items the focus.  However, to go into the next question, the site came off as confusing for me, as the ticker was so small, I did not realize that and the products within are the focus of the site.

I would tone down the size of the navigation surrounding that product box, or find a way to make more items visible on initial load.

Good luck, it is very clean looking.

Thanks pron-master 2000. I will definitely take that into consideration. It may take over a week for me to make the adjustments, or I could just pick a new "theme" for the CMS/framework package.

2nd ticker it too small.

Also I strongly suggest you make the ticker description text left justified, instead of flush left & right as it is now (making it     harder   to  read    since  all the    space      widths      are variable).

It might pay to get a professional to look over it.

The idea itself seems good though! Good luck

I modified the text so that it is now left justified. Let me know what you think (you might have to refresh the page repeatedly to clear the cache).

By the way, that ticker can be embedded into any website!

Man, I like the look.  It's clean, well organized, and has a nice little gradient.

Jost, have you thought about posting a sample csv sheet in the format you need to upload products? Next week I'll be launching a project I am working on and would love to list products with you.

I am assuming that you have merchandise that you want to add to the feed. That is easy to do! Just give me the URL to your homepage, and my plugin can do the rest. I have written code that helps automate the process of parsing useful information from a webpage. In fact, that was how all the items appeared in the feed.

No CSV file is needed!!!!!!

Hmmm yes... I have a beta search engine... but I have not yet indexed enough merchandise to make it effective. To many search results come up NULL :-(
