So I find the concept of Proof of Stake interesting.  There are tons of alt coins out there, but only a few support POS.  I'm looking into mining one and am gathering information.  Here's what I have so far.

PPC: SHA based, 30 days until you can attempt POS blocks, 90 day cap, effect 1% gains from POS per year
NVC: scrypt based, 5% POS gains per year
YAC: scrypt, unknown gains, also CPU friendly
BTG: scrypt, unknown gains

Anyone have any more info to add about these coins? Bitgem seems to have active development.  They are adding something about type, cut, clarity???  I'm a bit confused on what that's all about.

YAC seems to have development on a branch by a different developer, but no binaries the last time I looked.

Actually it's dynamic and depends on difficulty.

I am very keen on ADA; latest PoS coin. No only will usage of the tech grow, but the rewards system is very fair. Don't need to hold massive amounts to stake (but would increase you chances of receiving rewards). Gradually, building a very nice portfolio of ADA.
