Solution of Bitcoin against BCH/Network Transaction Fee?

Since Segwit2x is canceled, we would not have our 2MB Block, which means transactions will remain expensive.

Thus, this makes people think that Bitcoin Hash which doesn't have "Segwit" activated and has 8MB Block size the solution to all these.

So what is the current ongoing development/plan for Bitcoin?

Any solution to overcome the transaction thing?
As 12/11, 139K Transaction is now stuck in the Mempool
