If people wants to choose more advanced coins, I have heard that there are much better technically advanced currencies. Why people don't buy those coins instead of BCH ?

And second, if we assume this increase of BCH as a pump, then possibility comes to my mind that, could we think that unusual increase of transactions in BTC also an attack by those pumpers ?

Will BTC lose its reputation ?

It suited their agenda. Get a Alt coin for free in a fork and then quietly buy some more before a organized pump. Bitcoin

Cash was strategy number 1..... The SegWit2X was just a smoke screen and a diversion to hide their main attack. They

then cancelled SegWit2X and mobilized their minions to start pumping Bitcoin Cash and also told their miners in their camp to

remove hashing power from BTC mining to cause further congestion. Now they pushed some resources into the spamming

the BTC network to make it even worst. The Bitcoin Cash shills are now telling people that Bitcoin Cash is much better than

BTC, because BTC is slow. {they are the cause of this} ..... When the price is high enough, they will dump Bitcoin Cash and

take massive profits.  Angry

Because it's not truly about the technology. It's about Bitcoin and the value its name holds. There's a lot of money in Bitcoin and the owners of that money are more likely to trust a forked coin which claims it's the true Bitcoin than some altcoin, even if it is more advanced.

Bitcoin will not lose its reputation. This attack is unsustainable. Look at the bright side and buy the dip.

Possibly, but will it actually hold its market value a week from now? I highly doubt it. It's not overtaking bitcoin, at least not anytime soon. Investors will sell and flock back to bitcoin as usual.

It's because BCH is already distributed to a large number of people. Whereas the other alts have a small distribution.

Anyone who had BTC before August has BCH too - and a lot of people haven't cashed out, and can easily start using BCH if BTC becomes completely unusable.

Because people are afraid to branch out in to something unfamiliar and so they just go for BCH which is the closest thing to BTC. It wouldn't be surprising at all if BCH supporters were also somehow damaging BTC. BTC may lose some face but it has a lot of good faith and a strong reputation so it would take a lot for it to be really damaged.

because BCH is one of the main competitors of BTC and BTC dropped significantly today. So BCH rose due to expectations/speculations that it may replace bitcoin

The dangerous thing is that there are a lot of new people coming in and the first place or most suggested place is Coinbase, when they go to Coinbase they will be presented with BTC and BCH and will have already heard about BCH being quicker and it is currently cheaper so they may be swayed and go for BCH instead.

Yes... A lot of people say that BTC is too expensive. They don't want to invest into it. If they happen to find out that BCH has more potential that BTC, they may buy BCH...

Bitcoin is store of value rather than currency that can be used for daily micro transactions.

Bitcoin is like gold which is expensive and hard to move while bitcoin cash can still be used for micro transactions but it might not replace bitcoin anytime soon.

Just wait for few more months than you will see bitcoin dominance over 70% in crypto.

We all know the figures behind Bcash, let them continue to pump their BCash until they spend all their BTC doing it, I won't be surprised to see another bull run then significant drop
