With the recent issue of high transaction fee and long time of transaction, will it be a road block for the bitcoin?

Looking like its getting issues with daily usage. Maybe bitcoin can only become the storage of value rather than a means of transaction / daily usage as mentioned in some other articles?

What's your thought?

For me, that high transaction costs and slow confirmation speed are the 2 main headwinds facing BTC in relation to becoming widely used for every day transactions. There is no doubt that the tech needs to get better before we start to see BTC becoming a mainstream form of exchange for goods and services.

The instant confirmation piece is critical. This is what we pay the current financial system for. Speed. Crypto's need to understand that without instant confirmation this thing will never be used for every day transactions, and if that is true, then a lot of the hopes and aspirations of a lot of people on this forum will be crushed.
