You should withdraw the money to your bank and buy on localbitcoins.com, nobody is going to take Paypal here from a newbie, the risk of a chargeback is too high.

Try sites like coinmama.com or bitcoin.com or if you want to use paypal go with paybis.com ( i dont know paybis well i just came across the site today )

Why would you send someone $1100 without escrow, even if it is Paypal?

I guess if he doesn't come through you can chargeback.

If you paid with a credit card you can chargeback.

well i never know buy game items and fund atill hold even i got receipt from in paypal already
if fund on hold it should say pending payment

is this any critical issue if i wait 1 more day like he said?

Nope you shouldn't wait for him.
Most likely he scammed you ans trying to figure out a way to revoke the chance of you getting back the money.
Just open a dispute and get your money back and ban his account on the game that would be like pain in the ass.
Send to me the game details or the item he asked you to buy through a PM and i'll let you know how you can go through this.

why not find some trusted escrow and you send BTC to an escrow first?
