Wow this seriously impressed me because whaleclub was one of the first brokers that i have ever used, and i used to trade in there with more than five thousand dollars at the beggining of this year.
I learnt a lot of things in there, and there was the trollbox in where i used to talk with the most experienced guys.
This is pretty sad man, i will see what i can do, i used to talk a lot with one of the CEO's who was in this forum a few months before, but i think that he is inactive.
What a sad story, i dont know how they could steal you, i thought that it was going to be one of the best bitcoin brokers.

Today I got scammed as well as a friend of mine who invited me, I'm posting all the screenshot proof I have.

First, I was the less affected since I didn't do any trade because my friend then told me what happend, they robbed him of 500 euro worth of btc and to me they only more then doubled my withdrawal fees.

As you can see there's mor ethan 500 euro of an hidden fee, "leverage financing"

The 107 DASH is now worth $61,000.  Absolutely ridiculous.  Must be nice to be able to just take anyones earnings the second they do well.  I've found quite a few related issues with the same exact result.

It really sucks they do this and it sucks even more that there is now ay really good way for us as a community to self-regulate these situations!

Thanks for your guys support.  Nice to see people other than that affiliate trolls that actually understand the plight here.  I haven't focused on it and have been earning naturally with this alt boom in the meantime... just nothing near the 107 DASH that was taken

Don't even want to calculate anymore with DASH going insane :-P seriously astounds me.  It really sucks that there doesn't appear to be any legit exchanges that really aren't attached to various shady schemes.  Bittrex is one of the few I will even use and they have some things attached that seem shady but nothing that is over the top and proven for the most part.

Others have been messaging me with the same experience with the most recent surge in Bitcoin price!  When will we find a way to punish these fraudulent exchanges!

Unfortunately it would appear that Whaleclub has done it again!  I actively monitor the chat room to see if Whaleclub is doing this to others so that I can eventually begin updating https://www.whaleclub-scam.com and I recently came across a situation when Bitcoin jumped massively when the futures market started trading (CBOE).

User "TheWalrus" made 0.6 Bitcoin on a trade and Whaleclub instantly deleted the trade from his history and refused to pay him the earnings - this is EXACTLY in-line with what they did to me and confirms they simply will not pay you if you happen to make money on the platform.

What is funny is that a user actually posted a link to whaleclub-scam that wasn't me !  I laughed when I saw that.  Immediately once that link was posted a bunch of new users that I have never seen before (I know almost every user that actively chats as I have been on the site for many months) and started talking up whaleclub and how amazing it is trying to make sure the link to the scam website is not seen

I have just been scammed with Whaleclub.  Similar story- I did well using 20x leverage on Bitcoin and suddenly my entire account had all Bitcoins removed.


Has anyone been able to contact the authorities about whaleclub's practices? Could you identify any of the owners or officers of this company?

I had a similar experience.

I have contacted one of their proxy web hosting services and was told to email their hosting provider.  They told me that their website hosting service is digitalocean.com

Fraud/Scam complaints can be emailed to

  abuse@digitalocean.com

This is probably the most useful place to email your complaint.
