I honestly don't think Bcash will replace Bitcoin as the top crypto in market cap, but crazy things do happen in the scene. But anyway, I want to find out what you think. Please answer the poll and post your thoughts below.
For neutrality's sake, I won't vote. Enjoy.

No, it won't.The price of BCH has soared only because of the combination of news media and the malicious speculation of financiers, not to buy BCH, at least not now.Because its prices are free to fall at any time, zhong said.

if I was, would follow the plot of the battle because everything could happen for now and for the bch the higher the value its value would certainly rival the btc for the future. i'm sure it is.

No, it was an epic pump by Bcash supporters but it is already over and should go down below $1000 in next week or two.

I don't think Bitcoin cash will ever replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the legend and will remain the same. There are some big whales behind BCH who had already planned to pump BCH and bought it at lower prices and pumped the price and sold at high. There will be too many bag holders at the moment. BCH will surely dump more in price when the bag holders start selling it. Bitcoin will recover the price now and at a faster speed.

Once the group of whales are finished, perhaps it may stabilize a bit if this strategy wasn’t intentionally done to take bitcoin down ... also all of the bitcoin classic which ceased was transferred to BCH it seems to be the case. I think BCH will surge as people are easily influenced to jump on the band wagon, but the pace may slow down if it’s a natural processes...

So this is what actually happened, according to some Bitcoiners on Twitter. Roger Ver moved 50k BTC to Bitfinex a couple days ago or so. Then it was either coincidence of it was actually him who dumped BTC to pump Bcash.
I don't know how true, but they based it on info gathered from the blockchain. I don't really follow Ver's wallet (lol), but if someone can confirm it and post the transaction then please do. Thanks.

seen from the results of voting that you held, many people argue bch will not rival btc the reason is because bch created because of btc, simple.

No, I think it's just a reaction to the segwit2x cancellation, and then a massive pump. I don't think it will stay so high and will drop back to a few hundred dollars quite soon. Very impressive pump though, I think this is a quite alarming demonstration of just how much prices are based on pure speculation with little substance.

yes it will never be on top its just a massive pump sooner or later it will drop the block is too slow because there not much miner who will accept bch as payment it take more than an hour before new block

Since the vast majority are interested in cash real money profits. Then BTC will reign king. These hoards of greedy douche bags couldn't care less if a coin works well as a CURRENCY. They care about virtual token values for exchanger profits trading. The answer is obvious and staring you all in the face. It's not a digital currency being used as intended and adopted that drive the scene.. It's all moronic greedy immoral short sighted pump & dump investard profiteering off of "scheme" coins. This is sad for the minority who actually do care about crypto. They will eventually have to realize they have been let down and the future is fucked.. doomed / glass ceiling. I told the guys they have to manipulate / pump it like ETH dev's did to get the morons here to care about it. So they did it seems. Oh and "gaining ground" ? Price means fuck all kids.. you missed the point. Unless you can prove it's being used as a currency with some tangible statistical metrics.

No, I think this is just another huuuge pump and dump action, made on the consequence of the dropped segwit2 adoption by BTC, which is only a pretext for this pump&dump.

In order for the Cashening to happen, you need the following conditions:
a) most of the hashrate
b) higher price than bitcoin
c) merchant adoption (to make use of those big blocks).
It's not there yet on any of them, though it is making mighty efforts. Lets wait and see how this plays out - if they achieve their Cashening, it will happen in 2018 not right now.

If you are the one guy with two/ three million of bitcoin cash coins wouldn't you want to have a chance of selling them all with the highest price possible and enjoy billions of free and easy earned money? They are shaking bitcoin holders to accumulate most of the BCH coins and when they own enough of it, They will start the real and large pump then, I'd dare to say that some day BCH will even reach as high as $5000 and that would be the time when bitcoin has already reached $10,000 but never it shall become the number one.

It is impossible mate, it is just like thinking that Ethereum Dark was going to be the new ethereum because it's name was cool and they had a nice team (they became scam a few days after the ico, lmao) there is no way that it can happen because bitcoin has always been the number one, no matter how many altcoins are on the market, bitcoin will always be on the top of all the list in all the exchanges that are online at the moment. Bitcoin cash had a terrible plan, but it was working, i dont know in which thing they failed, because it was a brilliant plan.

No. 1? No it wont. I do completely believe that bitcoin would remain no. 1 spot for long time if ever theres an altcoin that would possibly surpass it then i would really go for etherium rather than on Bitcoincash. Assumptions cant be avoided specially when we do saw a certain coin have been pumped out recently but coming to a point that would replace bitcoin? Nah,its impossible.

Bitcoin cash might have Roger and Jihan's support so they will have a place in the crypto world but as the no. 1 to replace bitcoin, there is no chance. Bitcoin Cash is completely centralised and controlled by few business and individuals, just something the bitcoin not represent.

Bitcoin Cash just showed its core flaws : it can be manipulated on the price heavily and it has no purpose except to in its dreams overthrow Bitcoin. But yet there are foolish people that buy it, for a reason I still ignore.

BTC has been failing at being a usable CURRENCY for a long time.. hence why the new coin was created. An admirable concept vs the rest of these shit coin schemes. So you are ignoring the scalability issue of BTC and it's usage as a currency ? Why ? Let me guess you are content with it being regarded as a commodity to trade like a stock ? But get this.. if all of Earth adopted it.. don't you think the price would rocket up ? There is VERY few smart people in crypto ..trying to do some good. This project *may succeed i have no idea. The pumping it up to attract attention and get some users owning them better be put to good use later. It won't be long until the dumpers dump unless something meaningful happens to keep their interest. I would hope the stunt they pulled off getting this coin pumped will be a stepping stone to doing something useful with it.. like getting it adopted and used as intended.. as s currency. (not a pumped / dumped token for profits) .we have plenty of those already
