Bitcoin poker sites have very low traffic and are infested with cheaters colluding on a daily basis so it's not worth your time and money trying to have any fun playing on there.

The reason I could see is that (1) poker is a user based game and (2) it require knowledge and skills to start/win with it.
What I observed with new poker sites are, they tend to have difficulties in finding loyal users that will stay up and playing for a long time. In result, the site is already dead even it's just days from when they started out.

I also wonder about it, in advance i like playing poker on casino.directbet.eu I can get a pretty good profit there and also only takes a moment to win it. But after their site closed, I felt the loss of one of my legs. I keep looking for poker sites in bitcoin but it's all not up to expectations. Cry

we haven't seen a single new serious poker site yet , all the new sites that opened in the past were using cheap browser software which you can get for like 500$
that's what I'm talking about and trying to explain , yes almost all the poker sites that launched here failed but did the owner take their business  seriously ??

yeah those people who play poker at pokerstars didn't want to move to bitcoin poker based as i can only see at that place the real poker player exist , the rest of it just an occasional player . no wonder there's no good bitcoin poker site as good as pokerstars , don't know if it's still devoloping or not much people wanted it.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

Personally nitrogensports is the best bitcoin poker so far, they have many players here especially at night, so many big players here at night with high buy-in. Well, bitcoin poker is not big and the players too are not to many like casino players or dice players. Most of bitcoin gambler are on sportsbook and casino.

so I have asked myself this question a thousand time , some bitcoin gambling sites are having great success but yet we fail to see a single good poker room after seals with clubs stopped ( wasn't that good but comparing it with these times it was great )

we see thousands of bitcoins being gambled daily on sites like primedice , betkings , nitrogen ...etc but yet we don't have a single succeful poker site ( nitrogen room isn't good especially with that software they are using )

why the sites admins here aren't going for that ?? bitcoin poker can destroy all the big sites

I see a lot of poker pros like Dougpolk , Kevin Martin , Mike McDonald ...etc are investing in bitcoin and other crypto  so even big players will tend to play more bitcoin poker if there are some active sites

I hope to hear from the admins of the big sites as well , like stunna and dooglus
is it hard to launch a poker site ??

That's because online poker is dead.  Even Pokerstars', the biggest online poker site, traffic has been going down over the years.  That's because the players have realized that it's easy to play tight ABC poker, and fish are very few now.  So as games become tighter, not much money changed hands.  Then more and more players lose interest.

Tbh, poker can be quite boring if you have been playing long enough.

I agree, also since newer players have lower chances of winning than those experts at it, the will likely lose a lot and that would mean that they will eventually lose interest in playing the game. There is also no variety that can be had in playing poker, it gets really tiring the longer your play as its just really repetitive. I think this is the reason why there is no one really interested in opening a good poker site.

Actually it's those new players who don't know much about the game is what's needed to keep the poker economy alive.  But yeah, they have been losing their money faster these days due to more better players and tight grinders.  During the poker boom the fish - reg ratio was so high that all you need to do was play tight ABC poker and you'd win a lot of money for sure.

If that is the case then it is not a sustainable business model for a gambling site. If the poker sites are relying too much on newbies to lose to pro players in poker tables then that means they will end up with only the pro players trying to best each other. Which is not really a lot of players. I guess this will look something like a ponzi scheme now, which actually is just paying those guys who were first to learn the game and feed off the weak new ones.

Well that's probably right considering that there aren't that much good poker sites. Though if you're not really that keen on specifics and just want to enjoy poker for the sake of playing, then there are many crypto based poker sites out there to choose from

I agree.
I know that Americas card room support cryptocurrencies, but I also know that they convert it right after to fiat, so I won't consider themself as crypto friendly site.
We need a site that offers Only bitcoin poker, with low house edge, good system, and blinds are being paid with mbtc( not with usd as america
s card room do).

I think that cryptocurrencies could bring poker into countries where gambling is prohibited, it could open a new gate for new users.

How about introduce Dan Bilzerian https://www.instagram.com/danbilzerian/?hl=en to gambling with bitcoin ?
I'm guess that he will take the lead as the best poker player on bitcoin industry but I think it's difficult to convince him since bitcoin still a new technology for him, IMO

I agree with first reason but not second. Yes it requires knowledge, but i am sure that lots of gamblers  know how to play it, so it can't be the reason why there's almost no bitcoin poker. In my opinion it is like that because poker games usually are time consuming if you try to actually win instead of using "all in' strategy.

We have low active player , the whole fiat poker player itself might much more than the whole bitcoin community.
So no wonder whenever there is a bitcoin poker player push hard their promotion to attract more players , it is always failed.
Look at nitrogen poker , first month , second month they have a lot of active player but now? After long time enough i cannot see there is a lot of people enough play actively .

As per my knowledge Poker sites are mostly played by players who are playing strategically but the earning is low but in dice and casino games the winning is high but same time loosing is also high. Players are not seeing the risk involved in dice and casino but they want to earn high with small investment and in short time , but in poker earning is good but low and risk is also low. Fortunejack was having poker games which was very good but what happened dont know it got closed it. Nitrogen poker site is rigid , as i have played so many times and i think it is manipulated by its developer as i think they are playing their bot in the table which scam the users and most of the time end up in full loss.

There are two kind of players: 1) long-term winner ones (regs and pros) 2) long-term losers.

For 1) the main reason is traffic and how much they can make out of it. I’ve been a reg for quite a few years already and for me it is better to play micro limits in shitty pokerstar.es (where only players from Spain can play) than playing in crypto sites. Not to speak about professional players playing High Stakes at pokestars.com. There is nothing remotely similar to that in crypto sites.

For 2) it comes down to traffic and variety of games they can play.

A few things why I think there are not much good online poker gambling sites,

1. Because it is just a niche kind of gambling game. There is not much players looking to play poker to gamble. Since in poker you need to be more than lucky in it, you also need skill. There is a smaller chance to win in poker than in just playing games like dice, if you do not have enough skill.
2. Ultimately related to number 1, is that gambling sites and operators do not profit so much from it since there are not much players and there is really no house edge.
3. Takes so much time to finish a tournament, or even just a single game. This is a factor to consider for both players and the operators. Since most players do not really like to wait too much and the operators do not like to have a long game since it would cost a lot more to run their poker site eating their profits.

I don't thinks , maybe your points are right but IMO  I don't think so

...

2- operators profit way more when it comes to poker as I stated , there is house edge and that's the rake
gambling sites easily make 5-10% of the buy in for tournaments , and they make money from cash games too without taking bankroll risks
in gambling when a player wins 100K he is winning it directly from the casino bankroll , while in poker this profit comes directly from other players

there are many players who are willing to  join a good bitcoin poker site , as long as the owrners are trusted , the software is good
we haven't had a single site like that so far , so can't know for sure

...

at worst case the site can create a game like spin & go in stars , where games last like 5 mins on avg and people can choose the games that suit them

You are mistaken here. The main difference here is that, in poker, around 5% of long term players take money out of the system whereas in casino games no long term player takes money out. This is why all big poker sites have cut rakeback, have implemented more casino-like poker games like spins and have taken other measures that basically cut down profits for regs and pros. They don’t want people earning regular income from their sites. They want all the money for them.

The so-called “eco-system” in poker is a bit difficult to understand but that is the way it works.

poker is based on more of skill than any sort of luck and winning can give you higher rewarda because of this the most important issue is higher fees for gambling with poker and the reward being really high sites tend to not pay with any of their terms

Well we can see a lot of ICOs related to poker. I think we will see a huge increase of poker rooms soon. However, I am not sure, but it looks that online poker is slowly losing its popularity, so maybe there isn't many interest in opening such sites/platforms. But after all, it's only my personal opinion.

It is right i also realize that online poker is losing its popularity, may be now only few poker players like to play in online poker game. Otherwise, i am not a player of poker also i can't play it. It need full of mind attention and skills and i am not a sharp player that's why i am happy with dice and sports betting.

When I talk to poker players, many of them are very resistant to the idea of playing natively in BTC and keeping their bankrolls in BTC, because of the fluctuation and because they're constantly being told that it's a bubble.

Bitcoin poker seemed to be doing pretty well for a while, but then a lot of the existing rooms in the market started accepting BTC deposits and withdrawals while still offering play in USD, and that really killed the native market in a lot of ways.

It's also really expensive to acquire new customers in the online poker industry, often USD150+ per, and tiny little BTC startups are not willing to put that kind of marketing spend into their projects.

I still think there's room for a good room to appear - the fiat poker industry is very vulnerable right now - but it needs to be somebody with dedication to their product and willingness to spend on marketing.
