Bitcoin Gold Core Wallet not syncing

Just downloaded the BTG Core wallet from their website. When I open, I get this warning message that the core wallet needs synchronizing. As of now, nothing happened. It is still connecting to peers. How to use this wallet for mining?

BTG wallet main node should be in China, I don't know if I can link to the global, because China has the GFW to intercept some sensitive things.In Singapore and South Korea recently, Japan has deployed nodes, and I don't know what's going on, but my BTG wallet is out of sync.

My wallet has been syncing for 24h on 100Mbit connection. Now 94% and going. Maybe 1h left.

If your already have bitcoin core wallet with all updated blocks you can syncronize from command line

./bgoldd -rpcport=8339 -conneclocalhost:8338 -bootstrap -skiphardforkibd -debug=1 -printtoconsole

bitcoin core wallet at that time have to launched too.

blockchains the same until snapshot on block 491,407. About 8 hours. The progress control by command
watch ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getinfo

After that launch btcgold .\bitcoin-qt .

Me too downloaded the BTG Core wallet from their website. Installed. Launched. Everything is fine. Syncing started.For launch i used the .bat file:

BTG tells you how much it needs while you initially configure your data-path. Currently needs 152GB.

152GB??? Oh, till now it occupies 10GB and 183K blocks. Lets see how long will it take.
