Have you been reading the above? Why would cryptsy list it with all the pre-mined coins out there and the lack of explanation? Ohh... they wouldn't. Aaaaan... they haven't. |

I apologize for the late reply. Things have been too crazy on my end.
I know as a dev i should have been more active but somethings were out of my control.
As for the premine, i have spent a lot of already on getting things done like
Logo design
Windows QT built
Website built
2 Pools setup
Giveaways
Block explorer setup
The premine is not a problem anymore because the premine percentage is a lot lower than the total distribution of VLC.
Bitjohn has agreed to update his list according to the new coins in circulation and place VLC higher.

Nice of you to come back :-) As I am mined quiet a few of these coins, how come you had to pay out VLC to get the Windows QT built? That is normally free and done by yourself. |

So the 1mill premine is over-hyped. I urge bitjohn to review the situation and list VLC on cryptsy.

Like i discussed in the earlier post, most of the premine has been diluted and total VLC have have surpassed enough to not let VLC be a problem anymore. |

When you first launched Valuecoin, I spend a lot of time mining this coin but you don't seem to be interested in it that much with your forum activity so low for a developer of a released coin and you have not showed us what the pre-mine has been spend on. Saying it is diluted is like saying you still have the million still.

support VLC to cryptsy. It's a coin exist for long time, many coins have been mined by many people, and people need to do trades, I guess that's what the cryptsy is doing: to provide a platform for trading.
Yes this one had a little premine, so what? people will decide what it worth, with all the facts there, why cryptsy need to care about it? just provide a platform, and let market decide what it worth!

You do know that a pre-mine of 1 million coins instantly devalues the value of Valuecoin. |

I don't agree with what you said. Cryptsy will make their money, they don't care about a coin premined or not. In fact, they listed many coins heavily premined, some just a few days after they launched. I suspect these are made by their friends, or themselves. The key to get listed is to have more interests in the miners. Now there are many competitions to cryptsy. I see bter.com listed many coins recently, including many not listed in the cryptsy, for example CDC (1 mil premined I think). This is good strategy for them, as the 1st one always get advantages among the traders. People don't really care about premine, premine will be factored in the trading price anyway, so there's nothing to worry about it. |
