I think the beginning of 2018 is when altcoin will explode. Since the price of altcoin is currently very low and this is the time when people buy a lot of altcoin. By the beginning of 2018, when investors sell bitcoin to buy on altcoin, their prices will increase.

Alt coins are already on boom post BTC forks. Now is the best time to invest to reap fast rewards. Be careful you will entering market with BTC which is all time high so profit might be lesser for seasoned coins

before 2018 it might be unlikely. BTC has all the attention right now and will have it for the following coming months. There are some interesting things planned for BTC in December, such as the CME group integrating BTC futures which might attract some serious attention from institutional investors. Altcoins will definitely suffer due to that, but it's not expected that it's all too bad. Once the hype around BTC and the institutional integration has passed the Altcoins will rise again, it's just a matter of time. Be sure to be invested in either way, so that you might not lose some potential gain from this (it might be that the futures integration from CME will drive BTC's value down, because investors will now have the option to short BTC futures, or bet against it in other words).

We cannot find specific time period for the boom of the altcoins. Some altcoins has got pumping groups behind it, that at times manipulate the growth. Other than that, the entire growth is upon the volume of asset in the inflow and outflow through different exchanges. Right now the price increase with bitcoin keeps them without much growth.

I believe that 2018 will be huge for all crypto.
But do not expect, that all alts boom next spring, how it was this year. It can happend at any time.
Sadly, but many altcoin will die, and never reach their peak again.
November,by the way, is not the worst period like October.

Is now the time to go all in on altcoins?
I am feeling sad again when I last looked at my altcoins in my Blockfolio account. My goodness! Everything's crying with blood all over my portfolio. Well, except Bitcoin. Because it is Bitcoin that is the number one culprit for all these, its $8,000 plus breaking once again. The feeling is actually both happy and sad but sad primarily because my portfolio is largely made up of altcoins. I wonder when altcoins will really boom again. This is why creating a balanced portfolio is key, if you do not then when the market shifts you can lose a lot of money, a lot of people invested all in altcoins in the last months since that is where the profits were being made but now we saw a reversal of the trend and now bitcoin is where the profits are, this is why sometimes the best thing you can do is to wait until it is your turn, the moment of alts is going to come at some point, the only thing you need is to hold and wait for that day. |

Bitcoin dominance raised from 52% to over 58% in past 24 hours.
Bitcoin price raised from 7200 to over 8000 and now it's back to 7900.
I'm expecting alt 'boom' in next 48 hours to correct the Bitcoin dominance again to 52%-54%. Now it's good time to buy alts.
Btc rise is astronomical! I don't think it will last forever. New money will eventually flow into altcoins. I'm a little pissed for not holding any btc during this pop. But I'm confident alt will go up again. And as I guessed - now the BTC dominance is 56% and yesterday was 55% at one point. I've managed to make some bits swapping few times BTC-Alts but now I will pause for a while to check on what will happen with BTC price. ETH is live coin again. |

No investment in the world can be in a perpetual state of growth, I think alts are going to recover some of the value they lost against bitcoin in the last months but I do not think we are going to see another pump in some time, right now we are in the phase were we need to accumulate the most coins possible and position ourselves before the next pump happens. investments can be short-term and long-term, all depends on your choice. Decision like all in never is good. First rule of investment is diversification, second - always invest only that you can afford to lose |

I am expecting a collapse in Bitcoin soon. It will be maybe in the beginning of 2018, or in middle of 2018. Just before that we may see a rise in altcoins and then collapse in all cryptocurrencies. This may sound like nightmare but they will all recover after that, no one can claim all prices will increase without a correction.
This time we may not see a huge increase in all coins, but the ones that really has a story behind. In the last pump, exactly all coins were increased even without a fundamental reason.

i cannot think that this is the time for altcoins but if i invest In some coins. Which offer a profit atleast, but altcoins will pump again. Thus, invest on those coins which is profitable.its my opinion

altcoins are already booming since the start of 2017 so that is still going on. You can consider that the market capitalization at the start of the year was about 25-30 billion, right now it's 240 billion and it keeps on rising on a daily basis, at least half of that money is already into altcoins. Bitcoin has a dominance of about 50% and it's very important to realizise that half of the value has come from altcoins, and many of them have already proved that they can indeed deliver and showed everyone their true potential. Look at XRP and ETH for example, they had increases of several thousand percent this year and they continue to do well. The first wave of interest has come and passed, there are still many who don't know what is going on in that sector, when the second wave come's, we'll experience another great price increase.

Once bitcoin holders decide to sell their bitcoin, the price of altcoins will go to the space simply. They will buy altcoins instead of bitcoin and they will make their trades accordingly here. You should wait. |
