the waves have an organic price increase with corrections as their idea and platform spread. about what competition with eth, if already now the waves have a high throughput of transactions per second. I'm not talking about a low commission compared to eth. then that Buterin was able to unleash his fork - it is his credit, but not a project in the whole. And there were no qualitative alternatives at that time. Unconditionally, eth will remain something like silver. but if you want to really earn by investing a small amount, then you need to look for projects like waves

Spot on about the recent hard fork for Ethereum. It was all credit to Buterin, not the the Ethereum community and developers. In fact, even the developers that he himself hand picked to join the alliance, some have opposed that hard fork and still are working on their own version (so yes, there is at least one qualitative alternative to the current forked version, just that Buterin didn't accept it).

Waves on the other hand is the one to slowly develop without a care to its price, which is why it has just been hovering at the same spot for months. That's actually a sure sign of stability if you ask me.

All Russian ICOs are going with etherum and not waves... if all the attention is in eth, it's going to be really hard for any other smart contract platform (or right now I'd call it ico platform) because all buyers are in eth... it's network effects, I don't think transactions per second matter much

Waves will probably follow Ethereum but Sasha is lazier than Vitalik. Don't forget that Ethereum rally started with a lot of ICO's. Waves need to do the same for similar grow. Otherwise they can't be as big as Ethereum. Until now we saw only small ICO's for Waves platform and almost all of them failed big time.

I do not think so, I like waves but you are asking for a 40 times increase in a matter of months and I do not see any reason for that to happen, I think a more reasonable prediction will be that waves hits 15 to 20 dollars in that time frame and even that seems to be on the high side, if you want those kind of prices then people will need to begin to use that decentralized exchanges a lot more than what they are doing now.

It really depends on how waves market will hit the demand from the people who really been struggling for now. The holding they had was such a challenging breakthrough right now, so we are going to wait until such time will come. Comparing it ethereum's current situation waves now is already following the footsteps of eth, and possibly in the future it will recover back what had failed specially those waves platform ico's.

I don't know when we stop asking the pump time for waves. This was asked millions of time in the forum but nobody can't predicty this as usual. I don't see a reason for such price increse for waves.

However, being more realistic, I think the project still needs time to be adopted as ETH...

Well look at all those coins that went up earlier on.  Why can't waves do it?  Is it because all those top 25 coins when they all went up, their marketcap is very low etc?  And waves is not?  The thing is almost all the coin marketcap seem to be high already.  Even coins that are under 1 dollar.
