First of all , I just want to say I am a complete noob in this crypto world and that I finally took the leap of faith and bought some BTC on Sunday,  just because I believe in the ideology.

The reason I'm posting here is to reach out to the Hive mind .

All you cybernauts, cypherpunks, crypto Anarchists, thinkers, investors, traders, pump&dumpers,  forkers, shillers, experts,  segwits and dimwits.
(My keyboard hates me now...)

This is a challenge to all of you!

Please name 1 , just 1 ,or 2 or more , old or new, dying or unborn , that can fit into the following criteria;
It must be :

1- open-source and decentralised

2- not pre mined and have a finite no.of coins.

3- infinitely scalable

4- privacy and security as a primary focus

5- Have a full time team of talented developers

6- Have real potential to challenge the shackles of capitalism and replace the fiat monetary systems and central banks worldwide.

7- ease of use to the average noob and simpletons like me.

8- serve a purpose , even if it's just to flip the finger at the cleptocrats and the financial system as a whole.

9- Ecologically sound , where mining it ,doesn't burn fuel like a V8 engine.

10- Be in line with the ideology of altruism and created to benefit all mankind .

I know it sounds like I'm trying to decide what to invest In, and that's exactly right.
My bet is Bitcoin for now.

I love the ideology behind bitcoin and what it represents but is it still what it used to be?

I think it falls in line with Richard Stallman's free software foundation,  Amir Taaki and the cryptoanarchy movement .
I like Noam Chomsky and his views.
I believe in the need to empower the people to free themselves from this corporate greed and control.

No I'm not politically inclined to the left or the right.
This ugly machine that we call "system" has both a right leg and a left.
The idea that you are free because we are allowed to vote is a joke imho.

In a society driven by consumerism and greed , bitcoin looked as if it would break the mould and change everything!

Am I right or am I wrong to think that all that has changed with the huge traction it has attracted  , from wall street to China,  it seems everyone wants to profit from it and just move along to the next big thing...

So is there a currency , right now that challenges all of those bastards?

I'm a complete noob in this crypto world and its so hard to actually learn anything about it.
It seems that there's thousands of coins out there promising this and that , but with a single purpose ... profit.
Shielded behind complex language and technical jargon that the average person cannot comprehend.

Please can someone, anyone, illuminate my path and help me decide where to put my support and trust.

This is not financial advice that I'm seeking just trying to educate myself and filter out all the FUD .
I own Bitcoin but I'd like to dabble in smaller or up and coming projects dedicated to improving the world we live in.
Thank you all for taking the time to read , and reply if you can.

Peace and Love

RChain RHOC:

The current blockchain platforms are inspirational, but have design problems. They lack formal semantics and as a result they’re slow, they don’t scale, and are unsafe for mission critical applications
RChain is designed to solve these problems. The RChain platform is a transformation in blockchain technology that will empower users on the industry’s first scalable & safe blockchain. Smart contracts are concurrent and formally verified on Rchain, so they’re fast, versatile, and secure.

On RChain, smart contracts are written in RhoLang, which is strongly-typed, concurrent, and correct-by-construction.
Rholang contracts run on the Rho Virtual Machine - a concurrent execution engine. RhoVM allows your applications to achieve unprecedented speed and scalability.

The RChain platform supports multiple blockchains both public and private, even on the same node, and these blockchains can interact securely and predictably. The blockchains are secured by the type of consensus protocol the whole industry has been waiting for -- proof-of-stake.

Because the RChain platform enables more trust on the Internet, it is a revolution. It enables innovators worldwide to create fast, scalable and decentralized solutions including:

New tamper-proof financial platforms; social networks and endless other possibilities where every individual can finally control their own own identity, reputation and data.

RHOC is an interim ERC Token for individuals who want to support the development of The RChain Platform. It will be redeemable at a later date, for the protocol access token. It represents the value that the early adopters give it by supporting the RChain project.
RChain is building a completely scalable blockchain platform from the ground up, based on mathematical principles derived from pi-calculus, as opposed to lambda. The metered network allows for cost identification of use of CPU-power, Storage, Bandwidth. The users pay for those costs and are not confronted with the hidden price of data abuse by central monoliths. contains very detailed papers regarding the technical innovations is the latest presentation from RChain leaders Greg, Ed and Navneet at the seattle ethereum meetup that shows the latest overview of the project.
